Arkansas Broncos

Everybody in the state of Arkansas with a Bronco is welcome to join!

OK, so many Broncos in NWA we have to get together for either some trails or at least burger and beers.

For all those on here who would attend, what is best for you? Weekday, weekend, morning, evening, midnight, etc.? Trails can be anything from dirt road to as difficult as you want.

Personally, I'm usually over extended on weekends with family stuff, so for me weekdays or weekend mornings work best. I can always find time for biscuits and gravy any morning.

Just gauging interest in who and what. I know it can be fairly difficult to get together, and if you're as antisocial as me it's hard to commit. It is nice though to hit some trails with other vehicles in case you get stuck and need help getting out.

Or, if you just want to come along and see someone trash their brand new Bronco, I just waterproof tested it this week. Got a lot of dirt, mud and rain in it. I'm waiting to see what stops working first.

I’m game soon and fairly flexible.

I'll also add that you are welcome even if you don't have your Bronco yet. I've been known to let almost anyone behind the wheel on the trail. I do prefer weekdays as there is less traffic on the backroads. Some Saturdays are pretty busy with all the jeeps and buggies running up and down the roads.

For trails, lots in the Devils Den area that would be a central spot for Ft. Smith to Bentonville.

Weekdays often work for me so I'm game if the stars align. Anybody else going to Bronco Super Celebration next week?

I'd love to get together, I normally only get Sunday and 1 weekday off per week but I'm sure I could figure something out. Someone just needs to pick a day, pick a spot, and go from there.

Unfortunately, it is my busy time of the year and there won't be much time for anything but work until September. Maybe, I could find some time on a Sunday, for a get together with enough notice in advance.

OK, Tuesday April 19 we will be hitting some trails on Cove Creek Road near Devils Den. We can either meet up at Devils Den after noon and go from there, or meet for an early lunch and go after eating. We have explored some of the trails but not all, and will most likely do a new trail, but in the same area. Cove Creek is good dirt/gravel, but the trails are a mixture of rock and mud. Some areas do get tight. You may get scratches unless you stop and cut some of the branches back. We won't judge. These are true Jeep trails. Not something I'd take my Tacoma down.

We are having lunch at a different place this time. I've made @Razorbak86 eat Mexican the last three times, so I figure I better mix it up. We will plan to eat here at 11AM in Prairie Grove right across from the Battle Field Park. Can even do a quick tour of it if interested.

OK, looks like current plan is to meet in Prairie Grove @ https://www.gabrielasmexicanrestaurant.com/ at 11AM on Tuesday.
That's PRAIRIE GROVE! You know who you are ;)
We can arrange a meeting time at Devils Den if anyone is coming up from Ft. Smith.

Looks like Tuesday is the only good weather day of the week next week, so great day to be out. Since it is the only good day, and I need to get in a flight currency next week, I will be flying the super cub in the morning out of Bentonville. I do have room for one person if they want to start their day early and get in some flight time to a few grass runways in the area. @Razorbak86 usually flies with me, but the cub is too tight a fit. If anyone hitting the trail wants to start their day early, please let me know.

I am looking forward to tomorrow's adventure! I met a fellow Bronco owner Tom John today; I think he will be joining us tomorrow.

I’m sure @Razorbak86 will post a few, although he got covered in dust. I took point and tried out all the mud holes first. No deep surprises today! Was a fun day with a couple new trails done.

I posted some appetizer pics for now. I’ll do a full write up with photos and videos in my Day Trips thread in the next few days. 👍

Installing aftermarket skids tomorrow, so that, and the beer, will keep both of us busy. 😂

So I am a bit late to this thread, as I am more of a FaceBook guy instead of Bronco6G. I have noticed more and more Broncos in NWA. As someone who has had theirs since November, it is quite refreshing to start to see them pop up. I am happy everyone is finally getting their order. I am always down to meet up for food or trails. :)
