That's a ton of info to dissect. Boston invited me here, so I'll do my best to answer questions that I can. For those of you with reservations with us (Serramonte Ford) we are not charging a markup on any reservation with us. Matt (our GM) had discussed with a few clients an ADM on FE units, but that was dropped, and we will honor X-Plan if you are eligible. X-Plan is supposed to be a non-negotiable fixed price based on a calculation of the invoice. We do not intend to discredit the X-Plan program by offering anyone with X-plan a lower sale price (other than applicable rebates) than dictated by the X-Plan program. Same applies to A/Z plan customers as well. As for non-xplan, we will discuss those deals individually.

Casual reading has led me to believe that some representatives aren't fully aware of how X-Plan works, so feel free to ask. The rules have been posted by other dealers online, and is now publicly viewable here: https://www.thedieselstop.com/threads/x-plan-rules.275779/

I will respond to any inquiry as soon as possible, but note that I may be with a customer, or otherwise not available.

I'm with Serramonte and not switching. Looking forward to hearing from your team when it's time to finalize my fe order.

Thanks for posting @Gloff and thanks for committing publicly to fair pricing policies. Some of us are working on putting together a group buy in order to seek out a slightly better deal in exchange for the dealership getting our reservations using the one allowed change-over. Possibly something like $500 below invoice is about as good as we can hope for in Northern California. (I don't think anyone is going to come close to the Granger deal.)

Would be interested in hearing back from your team on whether or not such a deal would be possible if we can create a large enough group to commit switching.

@Gene Dios I'll speak to Matt about it, but that would be an aggressive deal for these vehicles.

@Gloff Ask what amount of reservations would make it worth while. I think right now we have maybe 10 people agreed to join in but our goal is to collect as many as possible over the next month, including other forums and communities. Totally understandable that it's not a discount you guys would look to offer but we're hoping that bringing enough orders over is a worthwhile tradeoff.

I understand, and I'm willing to discuss it, but I don't have the authority to make the pricing decisions, that's our Management team.

I hope I'm not giving out too much info, but I did talk to Matt about being ON SITE when they unload my vehicle. I have had bad experiences ordering vehicles prior and I do believe we deserve to see our vehicles if possible get unloaded. I know it will be tricky as he said deliveries can come anytime during business hours but should be able to narrow down within the days prior. I'm only speaking for myself here and my own opinion but I think if you order a vehicle you should be able to help take the factory paper off. I won't say where I had my bad experience here in the Bay area, but my new car sat for days while customers and employees had access to it, and it had 40miles on it, dirt on floor and finger prints all over.

@northshoreboarder No worries, when your order is in and trackable I can communicate those details to you. This post on https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/63667-ford-vehicle-ordering-scheduling-process/ is fairly accurate, but a couple little things changed since it was posted. Bronco will likely have a tweaked process, but should follow along the lines of that post. Once it's released I can track it to the final port destination and we can guesstimate when it will come in.

Edit: forgot to add, we have to do a PDI on the vehicle, but if you request, we can leave all the factory plastic/stickers on the vehicle, just let me know prior to delivery to the dealership.

I'm glad to see a dealership is willing to reach out to us. I'm not happy with my local dealership and the two others I have emailed have not returned my email.
