It seems to me that if we get forum members in Georgia with pre-orders to commit enough sales to one dealership, we could find one to match the Granger deals. I was forced to order from Krause in Woodstock, but if they play games with ADMs, handling fees, add-Ins, etc., I’ll find a better place to take my X-plan.

I think Drew over at Five Star Ford said they would do X Plan with no additional fees. A lot of us have already moved to Granger so we don't have the ability to swap dealers again.

Yeah, I'm at Krause in Alpharetta, but have since moved my reservation to Granger. I don't have confidence in anyone local pulling a deal off like Granger. A local deal with just an X-plan offer is just too expensive at this point in the game .

Pugmire in Cartersville said no markups and they would accept x-plan if allowed by Ford. That is who I have. There's one other person on this forum there also.

I'm not sure if I want to go to Granger or not. It's about 1500 less, but it's a long ways from home.

True that but that truck is born in MI, so it kind of starts life far from home ?

Granger will perform the all the checks on the truck to make sure everything from the factory is in place, and that the paint all looks good. Anything out of place will be taken care of by Granger. From there, it's shipped down here. The only thing we are out on is being "introduced" to the truck. But thanks to internet, Bronco6G, & maybe even videos from Granger should make learning about the Bronco pretty easy

When's the last time you really needed a sales guy to walk you through your car anyways. I'll check that cost spreadsheet. I figured I would wait until the build and price comes out, then see how much difference it will make.

Very true. I think it will be fun to discover on our own anyway. Yeah, I make the change on one just in case something happens or changes. Either way, I have a huge discount with Granger, and anything after will be equal, or less, than the local dealership. Good luck to us ...

I was going to wait until mid September and then start calling every Ford dealer possible in the state to see if one will match the Granger 1300 under invoice with the xplan deal. I mean if one dealer would step up I will post here and also the FL and AL sites to drive business their way. We have until 10/31 to make the switch, so its not a huge rush.

Yeah, we'll see how it goes. I was going to buy an FX4 Ranger in early summer. But, I got so fed up with nitro tires, overprice drop-in bedliners, seat protectants, body rust protectants, window tints, and 699 doc fees, I just said screw it and stayed with my 2011 Jeep.

They'd offer $1k off MSRP, then load up 3k in addons. It was ridiculous. Had I known about x-plan then, maybe I would've gotten one.

I did the same thing on a Ranger. The financing deals sounded great, until I looked at how the Atlanta area dealers were loading up there trucks with high margin junk I didn’t want. I’m glad it worked out this way as I’ll be much happier with a new Bronco than the old Ranger platform.

And keep in mind ... it's not just the upfront deal off the invoice, but Granger's deal extends out to the extras you just mentioned, and the packages! If a local dealer can hit all that, then I would be amazed!

Yeah, I suspect the package pricing will be the ultimate thing that influences it most. I am thinking that much of the Sasquatch package is already on BD, so hopefully that's not too bad. I do want the 2.7 though, so that'll add. Not really sure yet if Mid is really a need or not.

But, the total cost with packages will be the decider, which is why I figured I'd wait til the pricing tool came out.

Imagine invoice on options! Whew! Yeah, 2.7 for me as well which is what will bring me down to a Big Bend. Though I like the look of its grill the most personally.

If you don't want sasquatch, that may be a good option. I figure a Big Bend might price out about the same as BD with that package, since half of it is already on the BD.

Yeah, invoice on options/packages will be big. I'd like to Nav also, so options will get pricey.

indeed they will ... options. Don't think I would utilize the squatch so just the 33's only. Unless I needed to change the wheels to make em fit. Hoping standard lift height is ok with them as well.
