Hey Bay Area Broncos! I ordered a Black Diamond ages ago, my dealer called me last week and said he has a Outer Banks available. So I’m buying it, comes in on 2/2. I am losing sleep because I’m so excited! I looked up the ride height and it says 8.3”, that is what my Explorer is. Are they the same ride height from the factory? Does anyone have a picture of stock ride height and them 2” lift with stock wheels?

So you went from a washout interior, off road rig to a carpeted interior without all the off road goodies? Or is the Obx Sasquatched so you will get lockers.

Yes, It’s my daily driver it will be 99% on road driving. I drive 165 miles round trip to and from work. I plan on adding new bumpers wheels and tires myself eventually.

165 miles day! That is some solid gas use! Congrats on getting one hopefully soon. My OBX SAS supposedly arrives 2/9/22...

alright - I gotta ask - 165 miles a day, that's 10 gallons a day at $4.50/gallon minimum - so $45 a day to commute to/from work - why not buy something more economical for driving to/from work? you'll be spending $900 a month on gas, you could easily get something with way better fuel mileage with a monthly payment of half of that gas bill, then you're not racking up so many miles on the bronco too?

@calgecko Yeah, to each their own, but I was thinking the same thing. That's a lot of dough for just gas.

1. I don’t pay for my gas.
2. I want something that I want to drive

I have a black Diamond build too that I still have no update on. What dealer are you and did they mark it up? I’ve spent the last 2 weekends going around to dealers and a lot have the big bend for 50-60k or outer banks 60-70k lol

@California waiting yeah the Roseville dealer is one of the worst. I spoke to Auburn a long time ago when I was thinking of placing a second order, and that was very impressed with the way they did business. I know they were doing MSRP for reservation holders, but I don't know for order. Walking in off the lot was definitely ADM, But that is understandable.

@da_jokker Yeah they definitely were like you stereotypical dealer. I don’t like that. I asked them to test drive one and they told me that they have to make sure I’m interested and would have to run my credit prior. I walked out.

Looks like I need to head to the sac area this weekend. I know Stockton had a few too

For those that have their Broncos and have tracked them through via rail, is Richmond the last destination for Union Pacific before trucks deliver them to dealerships?

Wondering the same thing! Our bronco must be on the same car. Got to Richmond yesterday…. Wondering how fast a truck comes

@hellahella yeah because that’s the last stop. Now it’s up to convoy truck to pick it up. But you can’t track it because the rail has reached its final destination. You have to contact your dealer about truck info

My Black Diamond non Sas 2.7 hard top silver that I originally ordered will be here next week . I’m not buying it . I think Ron Dupratt marks up 5k. So it will be 50k. If anyone wants it
