SHOW ME MO BRONCO

Trying to get all Missourians into one group to chat and share Bronco stories and experiences!

Has anyone asked Laura Ford if they will match Granger or Stephen's offer. I have sent an email and text with no reply. I'm thinking that if they remain radio silent, I'm headed to West Virginia. I'm flying one way with my wife and driving back either way. Laura is 4.5 hours away, Stephens is a 5.5 hour drive back... Anyone else thinking about heading to Iowa or WV?

Well I'm already reserved at Granger which is about a 6 hour trip one-way for me. I'll hopefully be able to leave my place the day prior, stay in a hotel for a night, then take my time back-roading to Lebanon, MO in my new Bronco.

The "break-in" drive back has me a little concerned. Either way (heading west or east) I'll be coming home on I-64. I guess I'll put on the hazard lights and cruise home at 55mph.......?‍♂

Will you be on a time crunch to get back home? If not, just take your time on the back roads and you'll be able to vary your speed and rpms just like the "break-in" procedure calls for.

@tshaw2009 No time crunch, just not a ton of road options going through WV and Eastern KY due to the mountains. I guess I could work in some back roads whenever possible.

Going to granger and plan to fly from lambert/STL to des moins. I have checked southwest and found flights one way for $50. Albert said they have a shuttle from the airport to the dealership. I then plan to drive the new bronco home.

From my house to STL is $29, Evansville to Charleston WV or Des Moines is $109. With the trouble I'm having choosing a model and a dealer, I've never been so indecisive on anything in my life!

Really odd suggestion...any train routes? Could make for some cool mountain views if the line goes that way.

@Blksn955.o Funny you should suggest that. Like a lot of people, my family has a lot of pent up desire for travel due to Covid. We have a bucket list train trip through Switzerland next summer on our minds that I dare not book until we have the vaccine. I'm kinda worried that my Bronco will be delivered to the dealer while I'm gone. I'm no baller, we just have a lot of wants coming together at the same time. Saving money has been the best part of Covid.

I was just at my local dealership, they had a Bronco sport in for educating the dealership. The Bronco guy there raised some concern regarding the dealerships doing these big orders. He said there will still be an allocation rate for every dealership. So between that, and the wait time for the dealership to install any add-ons, you might be waiting a bit longer going with one of the big deals instead of local dealership.

*The Bronco guy wasn't from the local dealership. He's the guy that drives around and educates all the dealerships.

it has been noted that those of us with reservations do not count to the dealership allocation numbers

@Blksn955.o Hope you are right, or there will be a ton of pissed off people. Just bringing it up because he did. But no getting around the backlog of add-on installations unless you are getting it stock.

@BdubBronco I'm banking on my Mustang Club of America X Plan to save me from dealing with any BS. Still waiting on Ford to officially support it for the Bronco, but since I'm not ordering a limited edition everyone seems to think it's a done deal. The price is what I decide based on Trim + $100 doc fee. Done....

I just switched to Granger yesterday. Got at least 3 people I know here in KC that are just going to have them ship to us for like $500 each.
KCMOBRO
Oh, and I spoke to the ecomm ford rep on the phone and say all Batches will be shipped same time to dealer regardless of how many orders are going to any dealership. Said I was in first batch based on my day one order and so mine will be shipped to Granger with the first shipments.

@KCMOBRO that's good to know. Got mine in day 2, so not so lucky. I'm going to be so jealous if I see a Bronco driving around KC before I get mine....
KCMOBRO
@bmclain Nice. Ill be sure to come cruise Bluesprings. Im in lees summit.
