Folks with experience on the trails in east TN, has the width of your Bronco been much of a concern? I ask because I’ve done no off-roading in this area but have the chance at ordering a Raptor. I’m not too concerned about pinstriping but am worried I may run into an area where the extra ~9 inches of axle just won’t fit. I used to live out west and a lot of the trails there had barriers at entry/exit to limit width. I just have no frame of reference for how much this may be a limiting factor here. My general plan is to mostly overland with the occasional trip to Windrock.

I’ve got 150 miles or so at windrock. Get some limb risers for the occasional trail where you will want them but I’d say as long as you keep the wider trails(plenty of blues/blacks) you will be fine. As far as other places it’s very different place to place.

It may actually help in places to stay outside the SXS ruts.

The main trails at windrock are pretty wide but some of the deeper parts of the park are tight.
