First Batch MY 22

Hey guys I plan to leave the group soon I just figure that yall can answer this better than I can find on youtube. I haven't even received my vin day for my 2022 yet and my order was placed on 1/19/2021, I have an outer banks 4-Door, with the Lux package, Towing Capability, Hardtop, and 2.7 liter, and a modular front bumper. Is there any reason that I wouldn't have my vin yet? Also I originally was a day 2 reservation holder back in 2020 but then I was postponed until 2022. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry - I just reread your post and deleted my response. You should have gotten your Vin number - its completely unacceptable. I have the exact same build as you and got my build. The only thing I can think of is its your dealer allocation - have you talked to them? Mine was never super helpful but they oddly guessed in early fall when I would get my truck.

@donkeyodie Mine won't talk to me at all they say they cant help and they cant even give me a guess when I should get it.

I had to reorder in October after getting pushed to 22, pretty sure all of us did. Your 1/19/21 order was for a 21, and you obviously didn’t make the cut. You did reorder for a 22, right?

With that said. There are A LOT of people who are first night reservations, and first day January orders, who still don't have vins. Especially hard top orders... this is your biggest hold back. No one can tell you where you stand in line at your dealer for receiving a vin, because it's based on their allocations & their individual orders. You need to talk to your dealer, and wouldn't hurt to make sure everything looks right on your order such as your priority code, etc.

Changing to the soft top made all the difference in the world for my order. You should have gotten notice to reorder your Bronco back in October 2021 as a MY22.

Key factors are: your dealer, their allocation and where you fit in line with them, and configuration. If you stick with the MIC top, keep waiting. Ford announced on 1/25/22 that they are still constrained. Our reservation date was 2nd week (it’s been so long ago I honestly don’t remember if it was June or July 16 2020). We switched from dual tops to soft and picked our Bronco up yesterday
