Quick question!

We’re going to the Austin Offroadeo on Saturday and was curious if we have to wear masks

for COVID reasons even though we’re fully vaccinated and have our boosters. So, if any who has been recently has any insight, please let me know

We plan on bringing our vaccination cards just in case as well!

I tell you what. The way things are happening around here, I would probably wear it just to be safe. My daughter and son in law have both recently tested positive and they had also received all their vaccinations. Luckily so, as it helps the severity of the sickness and last approx. 5 days or so. My son in law, is three days in and has a little fever and a sore throat. No lost of taste or smell or coughing.

Yes.... wear a (good) mask when you are indoors or in tight groups. That is a minimal amount of the time at the event. What's the worst that could happen by wearing a mask? You don't get covid or accidentally give it to someone else if you are asymptomatic positive.

Luckily, most of it is outdoors and your group will have their own Bronco, so a mask won’t be needed for the majority of the day, especially the fun stuff.

However, the indoor area gets packed pretty tightly before/after the event and during dinner. I’d def wear a mask as we’ve had a crazy Covid surge here in Austin and went back up to Stage 4 last week.

I went in August and all though all the paperwork was very specific about wearing masks no one was enforcing anything. Some people were wearing them, most were not. You're outdoors or in your own Bronco for 90% of it. If you want to wear it you won't be out of place and if you don't you likely won't be forced...

For the most part you will be outdoors or within your own Bronco for the day, so it isnt that much of a risk, but as others have said, precautions are such.
