Got my Assembly line photo from Ford today - already on a train, now outside of Chicago - praying it gets here by next weekend! Added the plat below - just came yesterday - so the timing was perfect

It took mine about 20 days to travel to Spokane, I would add another day to Seattle. Now it has been sitting in the local rail yard for a week. Next weekend would be very optimistic, the dealer needs it for a day or 2 also.

@De Brus - Well you were right x2 I think - it spent two nights in Spokane - now 3 nights in Portland - so getting nervous about a post Xmas arrival. My dealer says all Washington cars come out of Kent, however, I am praying secretly it was offloaded in Portland and they truck it up here (wishful thinking I know) - No ETA on departure from Portland - but I might break the rules today and call the rail yard and ask if it has a scheduled departure to preserve my sanity

Items to check (based on Bronco6g OP feedback):
Pulley rub/ proximity next to radiator hose
Coolant hose clamp tight
Battery terminals tight (negative loose)
MIC Hardtop rough/sharp edges, gaps, leaks, roof rattles latches...especially seal in middle
Test all roof latches (some missing)
Check seat stitching and ensure seats match
Check seatbelt webbing for defects
Interior and trunk lights/bulbs work
Roll all windows up at once
Check window auto-drop
No license plate mounting (if mounting alternate location)
Owners Manual and Tool kit in glovebox
Tailgate hinge area has paint issues
Any TSBs/ Service Alerts?
Paint bubbles/paint defects
Missing paint in door jambs/door brackets
Body panel alignment
Whistling mirrors
Sound deadening installed
Check underneath for corrosion
Check for transport damage
Check for rail dust (small specs of rust that will corrode). Must be clay barred off and repainted, or try iron/rust remover
Fluids all full (oil, washer, brake)
Confirm SEVEN Quarts of oil filled, not six. Ref:

Full tank of gas (we paid for it!)
Door bags
Strut on back window unglued from hardtop (why not drilled in??)
Check all three bolts in the fuse box for looseness

Excellent list - I have some of these but yours is very comprehensive! Hopefully the points all come in, I swapped to soft top several months ago and will use all those points for a hard top if they are ever "uncrappy" - if I can get an aftermarket one sooner - will do that and use all these points for some fun accessories!

@Tippster WA DOL application form asked for a VIN. I put, None/New in the registration box. Hope they approve it.

Tippster, how did you go about getting the vanity plate before the rig? I want to get mine, too!

@Juiced21 I picked the plate I wanted long, long ago when I placed my order. The plate has to be assigned to a car you own - so I just had them assign my plate to my beater Subaru (which was literally sitting in the driveway not even moving). As soon as I had my VIN and the registration from my Bronco - I went to DMV and transferred the vanity plate to the Bronco. It cost an extra $80 to transfer the plate from the Subaru to the Bronco - but I wanted to be certain I had that plate so I bit the bullet and just paid the transfer fee. Hope that helps!

BTW - I did try the trick of filling out the State Patrol form saying there was no mounting points for a front plate to get an exemption for our Bronco's - (Front plate looks terrible IMHO) - and of course their response was to "Pound Sand" - figured I would save anyone else the time of submitting it - the answer is no. - I don't have it so they can fine me - there are no police in Seattle, they all quit, so my only risk is on the freeway between cities.
