On my last car I got 80% ceramic tint on the whole windshield. Helped out a lot for summer heat and clear enough so no one can tell that there's tint on it.

Just finished having mine done with ceramic. Didn't get windshield done due to the frequency of possibility of the windshield being cracked and replaced over the years. It's similar to my FJ Cruiser in that it almost stand straight up therefore, not deflecting the majority of rocks. I have terrible luck.
