Whats up guys? I have been doing my research on X-Plan pricing and found out recently that there are a TON of companies that are affiliated with Ford and qualify for X-Plan. I personally work at Home Depot and even they have a X-Plan code for me. I could not find a list on this forum of all the companies that qualify so I figured I would link a good one I found on Dahl Fords website out in Iowa. Seems like most Ford dealers have this same list somewhere on their website, you just have to dig for it a bit. Dahl Fords was by far the most organized of the ones I've found. (https://www.dahlford.com/x-plan-partners.html) There are a ridiculous amount of companies on this list. Everything from Air Canada to ZipCar! You might be eligible and not even know it!

Once I found out I worked for a company on the list it was only a matter of digging through the HR/Benefits website to find the "Partner Code" to access the X-Plan site. This X-plan site will generate the actual code you need to redeem your discount at a dealer.

I have talked to and reserved at AutoNation Ford in Littleton and they say that they will be charging no dealer markups and will honor X-Plan. I too was prepared to do the Granger Ford path but it doesn't seem worth the time and strain on a brand new vehicle when X-Plan can be had this easily. If you aren't on this list then of course your next best bet is to join the Mustang Club of America, if you don't want to travel out of state that is.

Thought this might help someone else out before they shelled out the $25 to join the Mustang Club of America for the X-Plan code like I was about to! Plus if you're lucky enough to be on this list it's totally free to get your code and the code lasts a whole year! You can also generate two codes per year so if the first one runs out before we get to use them we can always just generate another.

@Tvcraig75 I may have a hook up on this as well if some are interested.

@Bronco4lyfe85 Albert said his main concern with just shipping cars is that Ford can’t go through all the features and Ford app with customers. Personally that doesn’t bother me if I could avoid going to Iowa and get a good price on the vehicle.

@Tvcraig75 I’m gone with going to Iowa but I agree with you, I told Dodge I didn’t care about the features on my Challenger and just Left the dealership lol.

That's what I am thinking too, I have my reservation with Sill-Terhar and is eligible for X and Z plans. With X and Z plans I dont see a huge advantage with Granger at this point, may be $1500 if we take into account dealer fees and additional Granger discount for X plan, when we add the time and cost for the trip not sure whether it will be worth it.

I have checked with Summit Ford in Silverthorne and Korf Ford in Fort Morgan area (both around 2 hours from Denver) and they have confirmed they will honor X plan and wont have any additional dealer fees (most Denver area dealership will have $500 - $1000 dealer fees). I dont mind the drive back from Silverthorne for saving $500 - $1000.

For some one who is not eligible for X plan it might help with the drive to Granger.

So the Mustang Club gets you X-Plan?

I did some calculations on the savings if we have X plan and also taking into account some additional cost for travel/transportation ($700).

The final savings for someone with X plan compared to a Colorado Dealer vs Granger for a 4 Door Badlands (MSRP $44,590) will be around $658, this could vary based on the model, options etc.

There are several Colorado dealers (~ 2 hour driving distance from Denver metro area) honoring Bronco X plan with no additional dealer fees, add-ons etc. I agree that the dealers with Denver area are hard to deal with.

For someone who is not eligible for X plan the savings are much higher, around $2,000. If your employer does not offer X plan you can easily apply for it via Mustang club and be eligible for it.

I have included my calculations in the spreadsheet below, you can change the MSRP and see the approx. savings for your build. Feel free to poke around the file and let me know if I missed something in the calculations.

@den_jkur Nice, that’s a good deal than. Only about $700 difference as you said. Have you contacted them about a possible deal with multiple customers?

@den_jkur Granger is personally way out of my way but I appreciate his honesty and it gives me an excuse to go on a road trip next summer. So for me it’s a $1400 down payment. The road trip and everything would be a vacation I’d take anyway.

@Bronco4lyfe85 I just initiated the conversation with them, once we have confirmation on X plan availability from Ford and bnp available will contact the dealers to get full details on pricing. I think at this point most of them have enough information to come up with X plan details etc...
Tvcraig75
So what you guys are saying, is find a Colorado dealer with small fees, get X plan from Mustang club, and keep it local...

@Tvcraig75 If you can find a dealer that will charge no fees outside of the $100 and honors X-plan, yes. He mentioned summit ford so that’s a good place to start. Granger is less no matter how you slice it so unless we can get a Colorado dealer to agree to under invoice you’ll pay more. But paying a little above invoice $4-500 maybe? Is never a bad thing.

@Tvcraig75 Yes, that will be the best option for us. We need to decide on the dealer before October 31st, once we have confirmation on X plan from Ford I will contact couple of dealers and will post details on here on what I find and we could try to negotiate a better deal for multiple customers etc..
Tvcraig75
Sounds great. I spoke to Fairicy in Canon City today and they have a $590 charge, they will accept X plan. I signed up for Mustang Club today. I will give some more a call, Phil Long COS doesn’t even answer my emails.

@Tvcraig75 that's the reason why I checked with Summit Ford (Silverthorne) and Korf Ford and not local Denver area dealers. I don't mind the drive back from Silverthorne unless it is Sunday afternoon..

Also keep in mind if you have a trade-in you could save 8% of the trade-in on taxes, looks like trade-in tax savings works for a out of state purchase also, but will definitely be more challenging with transportation, paper work etc.. so for every $10,000 for the trade-in you could save approx. $800...
Tvcraig75
I spoke to Town and Country Ford in Salida, CO today. He doesn't think switching dealers is a great idea because you will then fall to the back of the line at that dealer. They are a small dealer, he warned that because of that he feels they will only get about 10-15 Broncos in 2021, so staying with a larger dealer may help your chances. They currently have 36 orders, Canon City said they had about the same.
Tvcraig75
Yeah, he was being honest and said he wouldn't switch to him in so many words. And FYI, his costs were $589 fee just like Fairicy in Canon City, so as of now Silverthorne seems to be the reasonable drive leader of the pack.
Tvcraig75
Yes, I believe so.

Glenwood Ford in Glenwood Springs, CO (https://www.glenwoodford.com/) also confirmed they will honor X plan, will not have any dealer fees other than $30 for temp tags.

@den_jkur I’d be wary to drive a brand new car on a 260 mile mountain drive. That’s a lot of work for the engine.

@Bronco4lyfe85 agree, we will have 3 uphill climbs on the way back. I did it when I bought my Rubicon from Grand Junction, it is manageable if we take it slow..
Tvcraig75
Or from Silverthorne it is just one uphill, and if you take Loveland Pass it won't be a balls out screamer up to Eisenhower.
Tvcraig75
I got my Mustang Club membership in the mail already! Only took a week.
