Hey, in preparation for delivery of my first new Bronco (of two...long story, but basically I ordered a 2dr BD that won't be delivered until at least 2023, and then a 2dr Base that is set for production 12/13), I wanted to see who you guys recommend for things like leveling kit install, step bars, etc.

The last Ford I owned was the first car I ever had...a 1974 Bronco! Did most of the work on it myself, with varying results, and went to cheap mechanics the rest of the time because I was a broke kid with plenty of time on my hands.

Now that I'm (theoretically) an adult, and now that cars are more sophisticated and expensive, I gotta have a pro do this kind of stuff. My current mechanic is great, but only does German cars. I assume my dealership, Maxwell, won't get involved in the installation of non-Ford aftermarket stuff...do you all have a shop in (South?) Austin that you love?

Not many covering this for obvious reason, the trucks are made of unobtainium. But you might wanna check out Town and Country TV youtube channel (and TC Customs). They literally did a video last night on mild lift kits, and probably the only ones covering and selling the kits with any kind of frequency. Beyond that, research research.

@Mickey21 yeahhhhh...I watched one YouTube video on installing a simple 1" level kit, and immediately realized that I lack the tools, time, expertise, and stomach for it. Sad, I know. But better to know my own limitations than to totally screw up my new vehicle...or worse, cause an accident on some highway somewhere.

While not south Austin, I have used Renegade Trucks on 183 in NW Austin. They have installed bumpers, lift kits, etc., for my Jeep and plan to use them for my Bronco as well.

@BroncoPls! That's a great recommendation, exactly what I'm looking for and not that far from me in the big scheme of things. I love that they can apparently handle just about everything I'm looking to do. Much appreciated!

Trident Trucks in North Austin is very reputable. They had a bronco out front a couple months ago.
