We had five Broncos from the MI Bronco Club show up to Holly Oaks and a sixth that was there, but not associated with the club. It was muddy, sloppy, a bit chilly and a total blast. Everyone sent it and all of the Broncos were impressive. The 4DR OBX with stock Bridgestone's was killing it! Four Badlands, all different options (1 2.7SQ, 1 2.7SQ 4DR, [email protected] SQ 2DR and one 2.3Manual 4DR).

We bent to some Jeep pressure and launched the Broncos off a pretty steep hill climb to end the day. Videos never do the inclines justice.

Some sent it, some stalled it! Great time was definitely had by all, nice meeting everyone and looking forward to future meet ups.

Definitely a lot of respect to to the OBX. Anyone who has those tires, you don't need to worry they work great in the slop.

Did that hill in my Taco back in July. It is WAY steeper than it looks on camera. Not sure what this trail is called, but this was just about the gnarliest thing I was on. I believe it’s a 1 way so I only went down and had the Taco on 3 wheels. Did any of you give it a shot? Of course pics don’t do it justice…

@Philly Looks like it might have been part of Rim Runner? Not completely sure. I have a hard time following map.

We went up or down just about everything that we fit through. I was surprised several times that we made it. It was nasty mud slop today. Made one trail impassable. One other was too narrow.

Sounds awesome! So looking forward to it. Just need a ride. Also good to hear on the OBX. Thats what I have ordered though still teetering on switching to a BL. I have been debating those two since the beginning. OBX with 33's or Badlands stock. Depends on the day for me.

Just my impression, the BL with SQ was a beast and made it a bit further than the rest of us, but the difference between the stock OBX and the SQ Badlands was not as big as I expected. There are definitely situations that wouldn't be the case, and some obstacles, like the long "tank trap" mud run, that only the SQ attempted (and cleared). For most of what we see in MI, I think any model with a rear locker is going to be pretty good!

I still want to add 33" KO2s because they look cool, but was very impressed how well the stock OBX tires kept up. The biggest drag (literally) on the OBX is has to be the running boards. I was mostly worried about breakover and damaging those after the tires ended up not being an issue

Thanks for the feedback. Bilsteins and front locker were my main reasons. MGV and washout floors with 2 kids is a bonus.
