Just a weird little update on the 2022 orders. We had 2 orders that were originally placed last Saturday (10/23/21) get build dates in January. They did not have reservations from 2021 or anything just fresh orders.

They both have soft tops on their orders so I can only assume that is the reason they were selected. We got a total of 4 orders scheduled this first cycle and all soft tops.

I’m assuming no constraints on the orders that got scheduled that quick, right?

@NoleDawg Both Badlands one SAS one normal. Both softies and 2.7's. It surprised me that these got pulled but I can only assume its the top that moved them forward in my stores orders. We are basically all MIC orders left.

@DREWR13 wow that sounds close to my timing as well for retail order with Hardy Ford. What dealer was this? And can you say if there was lux or towing as well on these?

@DREWR13 sweet man. I already committed to Hardy but good to know there is also another amazing dealer in our area. I have got to see an eruption green in person. On Fence with CG and EG….Was hooked on A51, but moving on…

@the blue potato Cant wait to see the new Green. If it was available for 21 I might have ordered it.

Is it just me or does it seem that Ford has been pretty aggressive this past week with scheduling MY22 (purely base on the chatter on this forum). I'll be curious to see how many of those scheduled, get built. It would be exciting to see my timeline move up. As of now I'm not expecting to see my Bronco till midsummer...

Man, that would be great seeing Ford turning the corner and start ramping up production on Broncos (assuming the supply chain can support) and seeing our MY22 Broncos delivered earlier than expected!!

So @DREWR13 these are customer orders which you put priority on? Unless I am missing something, that makes no sense unless all your other reservation holders have had their Broncos built. If that's true then any old joe that goes into a dealership can get a custom-built Bronco in a few months.

@2DoorForSure Dealers can not put priority on orders. Each store had 1 priority they could use but that was when the order banks opened last year. As for other orders we still have a bunch of carry overs from 2021 orders maybe around 20 or so but all are hard tops.

Dealers have no say in what orders are scheduled for builds.

What makes no sense is the reservation system. I have seen people posting that they put in orders when the 22MY opened for the same exact build I have and they received a December build date. I have had my reservation in the second day. The only thing I can think of is that the allocation system threw the reservation system right out the window. It's frustrating to say the least.

@BigDeal agreed. It seems every time we get close to figuring out the why (as in the exact example you spoke about), it changes again with weirdness. I think the only thing that has been consistent in last couple of weeks is volume is up. I’d like to see those numbers for Nov and Dec builds when posted.
