I will probably shift this to the passenger side, but pretty simple. 1.5" aluminum flat bar, Bronco Bolts (4.25" spacing) and a little clean up on the edges to not cause bodily harm from sharp edges. I am going to try and add a thumbscrew for the base (or some other quick release) and will put some foam padding on the flag pole itself to avoid body damage. The mount itself is very sturdy so far.

Flag is Fly racing and it will need a rectangular flag to pass muster at DNR managed sites.

This was my plan as well. Maybe a strip of rubber or foam under the bracket to prevent any rubbing on the bumper.
What is the total length of your bracket?

@McCracken I tried making my own and used a felt cushion pad between the bracket and the bumper

@yeet I saw yours on instagram, I like the idea of something so its not metal on metal. I like this straight bracket vs your angle bracket, but both are good solutions, and good use of the Bronco Bolts.

I am thinking plasti-dip to make it black and no marring on the bumper.

Looks good, I like the two piece threaded connector. If I thought it would get used more than twice a year I would have tried to go up a notch or two like that one (and a more robust quick disconnect on the base).

Thanks for the dimensions! Already whipped up a bracket, just need to get the flag now.

I don't have my bench grinder or drill press set up, so I was free handing with a cordless drill and using my cordless Dremel. Hopefully the plasti-dip works, it will cover up my poor craftsmanship :)

@Mattwings I just test fit my bracket and your dimensions were spot on! Thanks. If anyone chooses to remove the 5 bolts and takes off the bumper end caps, you will need to add some washers under this bracket to make it flush again. It hits on the radius you see in the picture. But it would still work.

If you have the crash bars installed still, removing the bumper end caps does nothing for you. Makes it look like shit I guess...but you don't gain anything unless you also remove the front crash bars. This obviously doesn't apply to those that have Sasquatch.

I will paint mine and move it to the passenger side tomorrow. I am still planning on Holly Oaks Sunday, shooting for 10AM.
