Quick question for the experienced off road crowd. Let’s say that you were driving a 2021 4dr bronco black diamond and you started going up a steep incline. At what point would you start getting concerned about rolling over? Maybe 35 degree incline? 45?

I saw a video of them taking a bronco up a 40° Climb at Moab. I think we hit a 31° at the Off-Roadeo I’ll see if I can find my video and the other.

I did the Moab Off Roadeo. I think the steepest we saw was around 30° (according to the off road display) and it felt like you were driving straight up a wall, but not like you were going to die. What did make the seat turn brown was a highly banked slope, 24° according to the display. It was pure sky out the passenger window and all dirt out the driver. In my terror I asked the guide what the max roll angle and he said "40° according to Ford, but that's in ideal conditions". I'm sure it was fine but I'm not the experienced off road crowd you are looking for.

Here's a Bronco lifted, on 37"s and his spare tire is dragging at 39°

Thanks for all the help. I now have a good idea of what is reasonable.
