Emerald Coast Bronco Club

Good Morning! I am new to the area (FWB) and to the group (retiring from Army and new job at Eglin AFB) and thought I would introduce myself. I just took delivery of my new Bronco last week; OBX, 4DR, 2.3L/Auto, A51, Soft Top, 4.27 Locking Rear Diff, Auxiliary Switches, Cargo and Floor Liners.
I am definitely interested in any trail rides or meet ups for Bronco owners as we begin to take delivery. Does anyone know of a 4WD club that is not Jeep or Toyota exclusive in the area or does anyone have plans to start a more formal Bronco club locally? Thanks

@RandallSavage Do you have your Bronco yet or are you going to be MY21? Once you get yours maybe we can link up for a trail ride and lunch? I just got my recreation pass for Eglin and I am planning to do some exploring on the base. Let me know if you are interested.

Chap if you are a veteran can you get a pass for Elgin? I don’t have my Bronco yet ( it got pushed to 2022)

@Cajun Czar yes, anyone can get a recreational use pass. Here is the link, https://eglin.isportsman.net/default.aspx You can create an account and watch a video and take a 3 question test, real simple. The Recreation/Fishing Permit is $20 and it gives access for a year. A major key is to follow the online map to make sure the area you are in is open on that day. It seems to be well maintained and user friendly. Hope this helps.

@ChapEJF Congratulations on taking delivery of your Bronco!! I'm not aware of any Bronco Clubs in the area either. I plan on doing some trail rides in the area with any other enthusiasts after I take delivery. Suppose I should preface that with I don't have a build date yet but hope to receive one in the coming weeks. I'm a 4th day res with no constraints so it's all about dealer allocation at the moment.

I'm just down the road in the Midway / Gulf Breeze area. We've got a Badlands 4 door / 2.7L / auto / SAS ordered. Just got notification yesterday that it has been built and will be delivered the first week of November. It would be great to meet up.

@Cajun Czar I seriously doubt World Ford sold a Bronco under invoice. There's not even $1,000 in hold back from the manufacturer to support that discount.
