My Nevada Off-Roadeo Impressions. I will preface this post by saying I am a beginner to off road driving. Other than gravel roads in a Jeep Wrangler rental for 2 weeks, that's about the extent of my experience.
The Bronco, is bad ass, period. Unfortunately, with no real off road experience in a Jeep, I can't compare the two. I will say that, Trail Control and Trail Turn Assist were two really cool features that now that I've experienced what they do, I can't wait to use them on my Bronco.
However, onto the Off-Roadeo experience.
It was amazing. More than I could have ever anticipated and more than I expected. The level of instruction provided was high, the level of the instructors of trail and Bronco knowledge was high and the course had everything you could have anticipated for the high desert (no water crossings or mud obviously).
Since I was by myself I got to ride at the back with one of the instructors (Diego). He was spot-on as a spotter. This is one of the biggest off road lessons I learned yesterday and that was to trust your spotter. I did and Diego had me rock crawling on 3 wheels and successfully manuevering through tight turns using trail turn assist without having to back up. If I had done any of this my first time without someone of their level of expertise I'd most likely get stuck or damage my Bronco.
If your new to off roading I highly suggest that you attend one of the Off-Roadeo locations. You'll be glad you did. If you are not new to off roading you should go as well. Just to experience how capable the Bronco is. At the beginning of the day I was nervous, but by the end of the day I had more confidence and excitement in knowing what the Bronco is capable of.
If I have an opportunity to go again, I will without a doubt. Maybe Texas just to get to experience a different location.
Last, a few photos of the location. Photos or it didn't happen, right!?
If you have any specific questions, let me know. I'll be happy to answer what I can about my Bronco Experience or the Vegas Off-Roadeo location.

@Bdockins I drove the 4 door badlands, it had the Sasquatch package and the 2.7L engine. Just the basic package, no upgrades. We didn't get to drive at highway speeds so I can't tell you much about the 2.7L. For me the 8" screen is plenty big enough. The marine grade vinyl is soft to the touch and comfortable. For me the 4 door is the perfect size, inside it feels roomier than the Wrangler and has plenty of cargo space. The 2 door is too small for us. If it was just me, the wife and the dog we would be fine with a 2 door but we are not so...I will say this, for off roading the Sasquatch package is the trim equalizer. On the trail there were base, blackdiamonds, outerbanks and badlands broncos. All made it through the terrain with relative ease and the common denominator is the Sasquatch. I guess if i had to nitpick, I wasn't too impressed with the swaybar disconnect. I can see it being useful for articulation doing extreme rock crawling and for some additional comfort when going at low speeds off trail. But for me i don't see myself using it all that often. The terrain I experienced this weekend may be the toughest i will ever face and we only used it once, as a demonstration, not as a necessity. But if money is not a factor, get the badlands, at least you'll have it if in the remote chance you'd ever need it. If i didn't answer your question and there is something more specific let me know...thanks.

Awesome to hear how well Ford put these together. Could have been a big miss, but sounds like they nailed it.

Yes, I believe they did. One of the guides said the goal was to have a place where Bronco Owners and Enthusiasts can come and learn more about the Bronco and preserving the outdoors for future generations. At its current price, I'd say its a high value for what you get. I would even pay a little more. The only thing that would be hard to justify is paying for guest under 16. My kids would've been bored by 9am and ready to go. Now if they were of driving age and could participate then that'd be cool.

@JMiles74 Thank you for sharing. I'm going out on October 21 for my drive. Looking forward to it even more now.

@NewToBronco You'll have a blast. I'm so ready to get my Bronco. I'm sold on revisiting the area with my Bronco some day for some off roading. The instruction and wheel time provided at Off-Roadeo was immeasurable for a newbie like me...
