Anyone in New Albany, Clarksville or Jeffersonville IN. Carriage Ford In Clarksville got 2 bronco demos in finally if you haven’t got to see one in person yet.
They have a wildtrack and big bend. They wouldn’t let me drive the wildtrack because it was inside but I did get to drive the big bend with a 2.3. Hope the 2.7 doesn’t hunt for gears like the 2.3 did. It did have ok power and a touchy throttle response. The suspension was surprisingly soft in the big bend like a little too soft I thought but it really felt great on the road completely different feel compared to a jeep. Wish I could of drove the wildtrack it should of been a closer feel to a 2.7 base Sasquatch like I ordered. The sound on hwy at 75 mph with soft top reminded me of my previous jku it wasn’t too bad at all hardly any wind noise. Was quiet enough to for me to make the decision to switch from hardtop to soft to try and get it sooner. Hope I didn’t mess up switching cause I really wanted a hard top for the 695 price tag. Anyways made me way more excited to get mine. Anyone else looking for a pump me up go there and check them out. Everyone there is really friendly from my experiences with them so far. Even more excited now to get a bronco my first upgrade going to be the speakers because they are absolutely horrible.
Also next spring/summer going to head down to Red River Gorge and run the new byway 100 miles of overland trails to break her in slowly I’ll post up more about it later down the road if you guys want to get a group together to go down. Slade KY has a mild to wild trail system some of the most beautiful trails on the east coast due to the caves and cliff sides. Really looking forward to taking the bronco there hopefully I can get some of you guys to join me in a group when time comes.
