i did better than i thought i would here in N.O. no power or cell serviceb b ut the house is still in the same place... the westbank and river parishes took a hit from what i heard on the radio...

@rdass623 yeah my in-laws are all in the river parishes. Everyone is ok but property damage is still being assessed.

my heart goes out to them. i hope their recovery is quick and painless. i personally am just hoping for a speedy recovery by the power company(s)...

@rdass623 looks like minor damage at most so far. Lots of tree damage but no trees hit the house

Doing ok. Runnig on generator at the moment. Minimal damage. We lucked out this time in St Bernard..

@Scotteasymoney great to hear da parish didn't get slaughtered again... this time grand isle look like they got hit the hardest.

On generator power here in Zachary, most of the town has power restored, we are lucky, no damages nobody hurt.

great to hear.. y'all should get power back pretty quick... according to the outage maps...

power is back on in parts of new orleans. i am one of the fortunate ones...

uptown, not far from the universities..

We back to normal at home in Zachary, finished out a normal work week today. Headed out to Grand Isle at 4AM, not looking forward to seeing that.

good luck Happytown, i heard GI was bad off..

We were lucky, we will be able to fix ours ourselves. Lots of camps wiped out completely, 2-3 feet of sand on top of the road in places
