Hello everyone. I’m a new member and happy to be a part of the Ontario Bronco Club. I purchased a BD, 2.7L, 4D, MIC, TOW & PAINT PROTECTION FILM, in Oxford White on July 26th, from my local Ford dealership. I have to say, I’ve seen some photographs of the Broncos’ already received and they look awesome! From reading some of your posts, I’m guessing a 22 model.. Any opinions appreciated

Welcome to the forum. You will find informative info here aswell as many photos., journals, videos.Also welcome aboard our wild ride! A bit of sarcasm but for most of is here it has been much more of a wild ride than we anticipated!
Did you mean you placed your order July 26th, 2021 or 2020? My order went in Jan 20,2021 at my local dealer, I got my vin April 19, she was built July 23rd-&is sitting with all the other #BadBatchBroncos at dirt mountain. I haven't heard from the dealer or Ford since being called to tell me she was finally built, I only get info here on this forum or I & many others would be completely in the dark. From what I see here is Webesto ( who makes the MIC roofs for ford) is retooling to make a new design b/c roofs were BAD, which won't be ready until Oct, which you will see here!
When ppl do recieve their broncos they post pics &their experience with their dream car. Some bad but alot of good! We have quite a few of ppl waiting since last July and getting news that they are pushed to 2022/2023....
Some can't wait that long, leases running out or cars on their last limb etc, sold their cars b/c theirs were built & waiting shipment then the bomb got dropped last week. Ford finally addressed us, again i only seen here, still no word from the dealer, which is a huge disappointment. I don't wanna throw in the towel b/c I want my CO -2DR OBX, MIC, SAS, LUX. BRONCO, been waiting this long,we all knew covid & chip shortage was putting a wrench into the mix with all the delays, Ford & dealers being tight lipped we didn't see coming!

@SassyBronco2021 as you already know, my story is a carbon copy of yours.
I was fortunate however to see a 4D Big Bend with soft top and mid pkg today at our local dealership. As this was the first time that I've seen a Bronco in the wild, I was extremely impressed with the vehicle but frustrated that the owner received it without a reservation and ordered it only a month ago. I sincerely hope that Ford figures things out before they lose valuable customers.

@Sean492 if you see anymore, please let me know, this isnt fair, happy for the new owner, we order holders should be their priority, I would think! But i guess not if the MRSP markup!!

Wow! Sounds like a crazy ride so far.. I really appreciate your welcoming response & the important information. I guess I’m buckled in, as my purchase date is July 2021.

For sure a 2022 build. If next year is anything like this year, probably a next summer build.

Thanks. BTW, did anyone here about the new capable bumper on the BL & BD for MY22? Does this mean we automatically lose our original order of Modular bumper?

@Strong & Free I actually have no idea. I never thought of it and didn't look into the capable bumper. Are they made of different metals?/steel?

@SurfsUp85 Modular is plain steel & capable is powder coated steel apparently. The powder coating should provide protection from rust, I’m guessing..
