Went to Republic Ford where my order is at and they let me test drive their rapid red Wildtrak! Haven’t seen a Sasquatch in person until this one. There definitely is a noticeable difference! The stance is high and it is big! 2.7l has plenty to move the 4dr and Sasquatch from my short trip. I’m still gonna stick to a 2 dr Sasquatch manual badlands hoping the 2 dr 2.3l will be peppy as well.

I live in the Springfield area...when is your build date ?

Mine is currently “code 99” awaiting MY22 build and price. I’m holding out for the promised manual transmission Sasquatch

Fun to drive ain’t they!

. Drove a 2dr 2.7 a few weeks ago. Kills me to drive by dealership and see it sitting there. But think it will be worth wait.

Yes, was fun! I am anticipating the 7sp will be fun too! Did the 2 dr seem roomy enough for a kid to climb in back. I’ve only seen the 4 door in person, but am planning on getting the two door.

Not bad. But tight for teen and up! Rides nice. Would love a manual but damn!! I’m gettin to spoiled.

Thanks, that makes me second guess the 2 door. I definitely want the Sasquatch package, but now I’m fearful the 2.3 4 dr with Sasquatch may not be enough power, dang! The 2.7 auto was fun to drive too, though…just really want the stick, ugh! I may be second guessing my choice! That is the problem with the long wait, plenty of time to change mind!!

We just took a look at your badlands at Corwin today. Looks good! I will say once you see the stance of the wildtrak at Republic you might like that one too! The Sasquatch definitely makes it look even tougher! What would make my mind completely up is if I could drive a 2.3 4 dr with the squatch. If enough power after driving the 2.7, I would just get the 4 dr with the stick 2.3 Sasquatch. I figure the 2dr manual Sasquatch will be of enough power, but then fearful of not enough room for a kid to be comfortable in back! Grrr. Sorry for all the words

@MHODGE77 I plan on going 35 like squatch. Just remove crash bars. The ranger has no issues

@Draykas, Your Ranger looks super! You are helping me get comfortable with thought of 4 dr 2.3 manual Sasquatch! May even try that factory Ford tune later and see how that adds to the 2.3!

. No prob. We drove my wifes sport to the gulf (2.3). All the power/speed u want. But i’m coming off a 5.0. Truck. My mind wont let me downsize that much. And yes. The wait is making me second guess every damn thing on this beast.

I’m glad to hear of the 2.3 power! May decide to stick to the stick after all! Just don’t want to be upset with a 2dr decision! When was your projected build date? Have you heard?

Ha! Stickers are pretty neat and less pricey! That’ll be worth the wait, though!

I think the 2.3 on the 4dr sas will be enough power for you. I drove a 4dr OBX 2.3 on the base 32's and it was way more than enough power. And I'm coming from a Mustang GT that was pushing 475 HP. So, I would bet that you would be ok with it.

For me however, I am waiting for the 2.7 on my OBX. I don't care if it's next summer or fall before I get it. I want it now, but I'm not settling for something less than what I want if I'm spending this much money on a vehicle. I also don't want the stick though. I'm tired of manual's after having 3 different 'stangs over the last 20 years. I'm ready for an automatic.

@TheSpydyr, Thanks, for the confidence boost. I’m hoping that 2.3 will be fine! Republic Ford called this morning saying they were getting another demo in a couple of weeks that would have the 2.3, non Sasquatch (big bend). I can give that a spin too. It’ll be an auto though, but still may give me an idea. Yes, I can understand your readiness for auto, I for one am just missing the shift! That, honestly is why I first even considered bronco. I loved the looks, but having a stick 4x4 is hard to come by in a new rig!
