Hey everyone! I just joined... I got my August 30th build week email yesterday and thought I'd get into this more. It feels like I am one step closer to having my Bronco in the garage!

Welcome and congratulations! Did you change to soft top, or were you a soft top from the start?

@McCracken Thanks!!! Yes, I did change to the soft top on July 14th and removed the trailer hitch. I didn't want to either one but I am happy to have a VIN and build week now!

Welcome aboard, hopefully you don’t get pushed back several times like others here. Where you from?

@Gr8Hortoni That's cool, I saw the pic of the Man-Squatch on here! I am leaving the manual behind for now... I just sold my Focus ST. Just get what you want and don't change it like I did just to get your Bronco. I switched to the soft top. Never had one so winter will be interesting!

@kENNYbADLANDS it’s not terrible if it’s anything like Jeep. Most of mine were ST. I prefer the HT look on the Bronco, plus I’m a 2 dr order, so not much choice anyways. One thing I wouldn’t compromise is the 2 dr.

@Gr8Hortoni Good to know about the Soft top. I found a Bestop comparison video that kinda made me feel better! I agree on the design I prefer the MIC top look too!

I am in the process of adding the hitch, I will let you know how it goes! Flip from the forum (they are a dealer as well as providing custom parts) is sending my a mock up of his simplified wiring kit to try. I got the local dealer to match the hitch price ($269) of a discount dealer "downstate". They also let me use my Fordpass points, so it will end up not costing me any $ out of pocket. I had $410 in points, the harness was $110, so with tax it will use up pretty much all of my points.

@Mattwings That sounds promising and definitely keep me in the loop with the hitch. I'm sure we can all benefit from what you find out!! I really wanted to have the factory hitch. I bought one from UHaul before and it hung down lower than I wanted it to and it eventually turned into a ball of rust!
