A conference led me to Des Moines this week so we took the 30 mile drive to Granger to check out their demos.
It was great getting to crawl around both a four and two door model. I was excited when Hunter came out, tossed the keys, and said to enjoy the drive. We took the 2.7 2-door Wildtrak. It has a ton of get up and go the road noise was comparable to a Jeep. The ride was not. Very smooth on the road. Definitely need to consider this a “truck” and not a SUV.
Messed with the features but nothing crazy. Everything was responsive. The B&O is adequate and can put out sound. Setting may have to be adjusted as it was very front heavy as I have heard on the forum. The MIC top looked good and get solid. The headliner was well done. The four-door had a soft top. It looked decent with the same sag in all the pics. It felt very sturdy.
Overall, the quick drive fulfilled the expectations. We have a 4-door wildtrak at our local dealer I will test out too as I ordered a 4-door.
It sucks to wait, but at least we get to drive a few prior to getting ours. I am glad we took the trip there to check them out.
