Anyone talk with Barbee's Freeway Ford about ADM and accepting X-Plan? Ford stock owner here and am planning on using X-Plan to purchase my Outer Banks.

I finally got someone to call me back and that is what they said as well. Along with honoring any X plan offered.

I also confirmed today they are not charging ADM.

We are getting ours from Auto Nation on Broadway and County Line. They are giving us x plan.

@ski.powder I’ve still got a reservation with them and one with Freeway. Autonation had terrible communication, no alignment with sales people and overall just a slimy feel. They sent me an email survey in which I gave my honest feedback. They didn’t even respond to that.

This is what I replied back to their survey email:

“ Compared to other experiences from fellow 2021 Bronco reservations, based from online items, I feel the performance of Autonation is far below what I would expect for such an anticipated release of a new vehicle. Specifically that my $100 reservation went to your dealership.

I have received several “canned emails” with only responses from a person when I emailed back to point out the errors.

I currently have two 2021 Bronco reservations. One I have moved to another dealership and one I have left to Autonation. When I moved the early dated reservation to the other dealership, I received a personal text message, a phone call the moment I moved the reservation as well as some check in emails. This was a very personal experience, which I would expect from reserving with intent to buy, again, with my $100 in your hands.

I have received ZERO information about the new Broncos from Autonation. I realize information is extremely tight but at least something to keep my “hype” up. Regurgitating information from Ford running the test Broncos, information from the Ford backed “Bronco Nation” would suffice. Even information regarding dealer fees I had to ASK about. The dealership I moved one of my reservations to was up front and didn’t have to be asked what they would or would not charge.

My experience with Autonation is what I would call very typical for a volume dealer versus providing a personal experience. This experience has further solidified my feelings about dealerships just out for money and not for a customer experience. I’ll be curious if this report actually does anything or is just another canned email.

If I am to order through Autonation, I would expect a drastic change in customer experience.”

Not sure what you want them to do since production doesn't start until April. That is a long time from now. They said they will give me x plan since my Dad retired from Ford. A long time ago, I went to Freeway and they would not honor x plan.

You also want to check for any BS fee a dealer might charge.

BTW, I also have a c8 Corvette reservation with a GM dealer. They are all pretty much the same.
