Never ran them on personal vehicle but you can definitely hear them on our Badlands demo here at the store. It is a soft top though.

They aren't super loud but you can hear them.

We have them on the current JK. They're better than the KM3s that came on it for sure but are tough to balance. The noise isn't bad but the vibration gets worse and its tough to get rid of. I still like them for off-road use though.
