Hello everyone! Have any of you been able to use the order tracker to see about build dates? I get a "Can't retrieve this VIN" message everytime. Am I doing something wrong? LW

Do you have your order #? I had to get my build date from the dealership.

Yes. I have an order number. My reservation was converted on January 24th.

You won’t get a build date in the VIN. I received my VIN in April (and originally scheduled build week of June 28). However, until actually scheduled, that’s not firm. My build week has been bounced at least twice. Once to July, now to week Aug 23rd. The Order Tracker should recognize your VIN and show you what you ordered (doors, color, trim, accessories) but it’s not until a week before your firmly scheduled build that you will be able to view your Window Sticker, and THAT will tell you your build (blend) date…. +\- 2-3 days.

…Also, you can call the Ford Customer Service Center (press 1 for English, don’t know if there’s a French option - just Español I think), #3 for Bronco Reservations and Orders. They will be able to run your VIN to see when you are “tentatively scheduled”. I did this morning.

@ReimundKrohn So I called the number, and I now have a " Build date" of August 26th. She said it's better to have an actual production date, then to have a "build week". Did you get a specific date when you called? I still have not been able to use the order tracker. it wont work when I imput the information requested.

@Lylewarden the order number tripped me up initially on the order tracker. I found the correct 4 digit number on my agreement with the dealer. Just a shot in the dark why the tracker might not be working for you.

Whoa! Now that you mention it, the fellow at Ford didn’t say “week of”; I assumed…. I *think* he said “scheduled” for Aug 23rd. I would have to call back to ask for clarification though…..
