Good late morning to those whom are here. I just had a conference call with my Ford Rep. Yes they're really suffering with this chip shortage and it's gotten worse too. The Ford stores are going to run out of inventory. The only thing Ford is going to continue to build will be the Bronco and Mache E.
The next allocation will be for 1,000 FE and 10,000 Broncos. If you want to move up that line it will be a Big Bend 4 door with a 2.3 engine and soft top. No other tops will be selected for build at all. They're having additional problems getting the hard tops. Reservation holders should all get an email by 2pm today. I've also been told that if there's not enough soft top builds to do they will give stores who's customers altered their orders to meet this criteria additional allocation to fill those orders. Anyone who made a reservation late or for a 2022 can up their place in line by altering their order too. If not enough dealers have enough orders they will build soft tops for stock. For FE people I have been told they've been guaranteed a FE 2021 and they will get one but it may not be until later in the year when supplies have been restocked. If someone could also copy this to our group I would appreciate it. Thanks!
