Rented a Jeep Wrangler this weekend and bought the yearly pass at Fort Fisher. I just can't wait until I have a Bronco.

Glad you mentioned this. I have friends that live in CB. Will have to check it out when I am visiting.

The girlfriend and I love driving on the beach, its so much better than schlepping all your crap from a parking lot. Set up a few awnings, a grill, some chairs, a few coolers and you're having a phenomenal time on the sand. We're going to be renting Jeeps a few times a year to do this with my buddy in a 4Runner.

Very nice! I wish we had a similar option here in Charleston, but as it is, all of the land owners at our beaches are trying to squeeze locals out with excessively high parking fees and blocking state owned right of ways with landscaping and other stuff. It’s dreadful.

This is the #1 reason I want my Bronco before next summer. I’m 2 hours from beach access and it makes for a great day.

@BroncoT Between renting Jeeps and borrowing my friend's truck (he's int he Navy, he's just happy that it's getting used), I've got a way to make the yearly pass worth it. But yes, I cannot wait to have my Bronco for this purpose. Rinsing out the sand with the MGV seats and wash-out floors is going to be a godsend.
