Welcome from a fellow Windsorite. I'm new to the whole off roading thing. I've got a question for you, I'm wondering if you know if the spot in Lasalle where ppl used to go with their dune buggies yrs ago is still accessible, or the place on 42 & Lauzon or where the closest spot we can go? Or do we have roadrips on the horizon up north?

Welcome ! I am not sure it has been a few years , I was out there when I had my 80 Bronco and you could get there on the back side from Windsor salt . You use to be able to get thru Dainty Foods but have totally blocked it off . I have never been to the one on Lauzon & 42 . I am pretty sure they still frown upon it . I use to belong to Essex County 4 Wheelers .We spent a lot of time by Windsor salt . (every weekend LOL!)
What did you order ? Where are you in the reservation placement ? I reserve the first week and I ordered a Badlands Rapid red stayed with the 33" Tires .
Just curious does your ford account say in-store order ?

I was told yesterday Mitchell's Bay may be the closest,,, we could all use a road trip! I tried reserving online, but I got discouraged after a few hours because no matter what I did the donut doors weren't showing up(what made me fall in love with it on debut,I assumed it was on a certain model),so I called Rose City,they had me in jan 9th, thats when I found out the donut door was squashed& it was an accessory;( I put down 500, I ordered cyber orange Outer Banks , 17" Black high-gloss aluminum w beadwork capable wheels LT315/70 R17 mud terrain w high package & sasquatch (to be honest its French to me) I'm a chick who only knows where the gas & brake are,lol! I don't wanna bore you with everything in this folder! But I will indeed try the off roading,. I called yesterday to ask her if my reservation was put into an order,& I was told it went right into an order & be patient,ill be contacted in acouple weeks with the VIN #. Did you go to Rose City aswell?

I will check out Mitchell's bay definitely going to do some off-roading . I ordered mine from Performance Ford and the fellow ahead of me ordered your cyber orange will be 2 in Windsor. Sounds like your order is set with the sasquatch package . It is a lot of fun when i did it before .

Oh forsure, I will be going too! Im not gonna get to excited till I have the keys,lol! I wonder how many were ordered here,would you have a rough idea?

Performance ford had 40 but not everyone converted to reservations . When did you reserve? I was July 17 so I am hoping early summer . If not more time to save .

@wild pony I went to rose city ford, they never gave me a an exact date,just told me mid summer. I called last week & was told i would be receiving a Vin# in acouple weeks! I don't quite get it that mostly everyone on here has a date, I am in the dark, I put down $500 & im not asking for financing,maybe each dealer is different?

I do not have a date I am told my reservation date puts me in a good spot . Did you get a copy of your build sheet . It will tell you what date your order was put into the banks .As well look on your Ford account it will says as well . I don't know how Rose city placed an order on the 9th of Jan when order banks did not open until the 20th of Jan . You can call the bronco hotline and see what they say the number is 1-800-334-4375

@SassyBronco2021 I've decided to remain tight lipped about where I purchased my Bronco as I have had a less than desirable experience. I'm trying my best not to fault the dealership as they claim to have recieved very little information or training regarding the Bronco.

At first it felt like they were playing games with my reservation but now I'm convinced they just didn't know all the ins and outs regarding the reservation timestamp process (I was lead to believe that the reservation time stamp means nothing and it is when you actually Ordered that your place in line would be determined.... While also telling me they had loyal customers place their order before me....)

Long story short, I recieved my DORA (order confirmation paperwork) from the dealer last week and everything was correct with an Priority Code #16 so everything should work out in the end for me assuming Ford Canada stocks to the reservation timestamps.

@TSSPat sounds like we're dealing with the same dealership! I call they dont know jack & tell me don't worry be patient like everybody else & I'll know when they know. I'm glad you atleast have a number now! A LOT more than I've got!

#1 - I'm not financing either, so that shouldn't be the case.

#2 - I don't have a VIN#, but only an Reservation# (which is now called an Order# and has remained the same).

The only thing that I can assume that is going on with your agreement with your dealer is that their staff had placed multiple reservations pretty early on to allow for walk-off-the-street customers like yourself to still secure a Bronco in a reasonable timeframe and to perhaps secure some to sit on the lot to then mark up in price. This may be why they are not providing you any of the information you are asking as this is technically against Fords rules (Cannot transfer reservations).

It's a bad situation to be in but unfortunately without having a Ford Account and going through the reservation process yourself you have very little options.


You can either trust the dealer is going to hook you up with your Bronco and essentially allow you to jump ahead in line (compared to if you had made a reservation yourself the day you went into the dealership) or unfortunately start the process all over by going to another dealership.

@TSSPat OMG, I tried doing the reservation on their website, im not computer savvy,& couldn't find the tube doors (which i thought was a part of the trim) im just a chick,lol. Then I called & went in & they said it was an order! Im getting ready to go there now! I'll be back to let you & wild pony know the deal!

@wild pony I just went to the dealer I was a bit embarrassed 😳, but I've got my order code & Priority Code #10 printed out! I feel much better now Thankyou so much, you and TSSPat were great help!

@TSSPat I wanna thankyou so much, I've got the order code & priority code #10. I feel much better having this sheet of paper,even though she insisted this paper doesn't do much for me! I was told it'll be acouple weeks b4 the vin#'s start rolling out!

Good for you have to stand your ground . I have dealt with Rose City and that is why I went to Performance . Anyhooow in the states you can switch dealerships but in Canada you can not ( my understanding ) . I don't know how they are doing it but I would stay . Here is wat I have been told it will go by reservation # (order #) and the by availability of certain parts I am getting the v6 so that could hold up my build but willing to wait . They cannot give customers preferred treatment as well the dealers are not receiving stock until all the reservations (or orders now that they are converted )are filled . What are the first three numbers of your order # Mine starts with 101 . The earliest numbers I believe were 100 , you can call that hotline I sent you and ask them where you stand . They are very nice and are more than happy to answer any questions . I have talked to them because as TSSPat said the dealerships did not really have a lot of training . I originally had a code 99 and had to explain to them how that's just a place holder . After 3 or 4 emails my code was an 11 .
Just remember your paying them a lot of money and the squeaky wheel gets the oil .LOL!

@wild pony the Squeaky wheel gets the oil, I love that saying. I messaged you back & dont see it here, maybe something went wrong or you get 2 msgs, & if you did i apologize! I sure hope your availability parts for the V6 don't put you waiting longer, but for sure its worth the wait, to be honest I wouldn't be to bothered if I have to wait,hell we've been waiting this long! Lol!
Order code starts with 499, so you're ahead of me, & my priority code is 10, she still insisted it was of no use to me, but I still insisted I wanted it! I guess I do have a ford account I downloaded it while ago but it asked for vin #,so I cant do jack. She stated vin #'s will partially start rolling out in Couple weeks.
