First Edition Bronco Will Have Navy Pier Interior Option Only

Coming from the engineering world I've seen many color decisions made by the designers who parachute in and say, heres the latest color trend, were going with that!

Even though they don't understand what the customer wants. They cannot allow that to get in there way of trendy decisions.

Same here brother. Us engineers are supposed to make it work. We are not supposed to make decisions on based on color trends. That would be marketing or architects.

I'm trying not to jump to conclusions before we see the options, but if these concerns are not addressed early, it will be too late come order time. I am a loyalist, but let's say it, this is the people's Bronco not Ford's. This is why it has received such high praise. I hope Ford doesn't give us what they think we want a ruin what could literally help turn the business around.

Well said. I am a loyalist as well. This is will be one of MANY Fords I have invested in for me and my family (Explorer, Mustang, Mini-Van, Trucks). There as always been at least one Ford in my stable. Honestly, though, it will be a hard decision for me if I can't get some interior choices (Go with Blue and get a custom interior later, go to the Badlands if the cost and options are what I want, or just keep my FX4 instead of selling it to my son). Decisions, Decisions.

All kidding aside. Some might like the Navy interior and other might hate it. The point is those spending over $60k on on a top of the FE should have a choice. If you can give a lower trim Bronco buyer a choice on interiors then you should certainly be able to give your FE buyers a choice, especially when they're shelling out the most money. A simple no brainer in my book, just not understanding why Ford doesn't get it.

This is the best idea yet! If we can't get the brown leather w/black like they show on their website, I would just rather have black. Make it simple.

The bottom line comes down to whether the FE is a limited run so people can have a "collector's edition" that very few people have OR do they want an FE because it is the top of the line trim. I think Ford may be approaching it as option 1 and many of the people holding reservations are there for option 2....

Ford may have shot themselves in the foot a bit for sticking with option 1 when they doubled the order size.
