I don’t see how anything you’ve said negates the fact the roof is not up to par.Relaxe......
I just want my bronco .....
This cosmetic issue of the top can be fix later after u received them...
I have a 2 door they did not offer a softtop option to get it faster....
Because of some cry baby the 2 door might get push again.......
Looks like great stuff. We used a 3M aerospace two parter at Boeing for joining fuselage skins we called "peanut butter" because of it's color, nasty shit but stands up to 35K feet, 600mph & 40 below. But very messy. It's been a few years but im 99% positive we used the same stuff for delaminations on kevlar/fiberglass and rotor blade repairs on Blackhawks. That's some good stuff!
Well seems like you maybe can't build a quality top within the weight limitation specs. All the problems not just tops seem to be related....hmmm
I think it’s a trade secret but basically it is a cardboard box covered in Flex Seal spray.OT question, how is the MIC built ? Is it a frame covered with some kind of material/fabric, or is it molded ?
Well ignoring the fact nobody is talking about soft top roofs here. If yours was disintegrating and leaking from the factory you would expect it to be replaced. Any other stupid comparisons you want to throw at me?LOL. BS. I guess you've never owned a fabric-top convertible. Own one long enough and you'll be replacing the top, trust me on this.
It appears to have separated ex post facto. Are you saying this thing is disintegrating in a matter of a few days, or you just didn't pay attention to it when you picked it up?
I shall take a look and post if so.Do you have a process label for your Top ?
My MIC top has a 5/19/2021 date. Vehicle build date was 7/2/21
This label is on the mounting flange. A second one dates a coating that was applied.
