I still don’t understand why the most expensive model has the least amount of exterior color and interior seating options. WHY can’t I get First Edition in antimatter blue? If you can paint the other Bronco models on the SAME assembly line that color, why can’t you do the same for mine? What in the world is going on at Ford?
I don't like seeing Area 51 and Cactus Grey Excluded from the base model.
These both have to do with marketing and exclusivity pricing. They put the unique colours in the highest trims to push you up. It’s not like they are putting black up there because black is so unique.

As for the availability on the FE it comes down to economies of scales, no matter what Ford says cars will be built in batches. It is not economical to set up a batch for each color of the FE, especially with so many gray/white/black off-shoots. With 3500/7000 units it just doesn’t make sense to set up a whole batch if you only sold 50 ioniq silver 2-door FE for example. At the end of the day they also know they will sell out on the FE. They don’t care if you cancel and downgrade to BD/WT because at the end of the day there are a ton of people/dealers who would love to get one.

The ugly interior is inexcusable though.

I'm really surprised that so many people dislike that blue interior; I think it's gorgeous.

@72roadster we owe you another round. Cheers!

This does appear to be a bit incomplete. Under Base and Big Bend, it lists "cloth" and "medium Sandstone cloth" as the only available interior options. However, I believe that the black/gray cloth scheme will be available in both these trims.

Additionally, I was told just 2 weeks ago that FE would have a 2nd interior color option. Things could have changed since then as the order guides don't have to be finalized for a few more weeks.

Hmm

What is interesting with the OBX is that Marine Grade Vinyl is excluded, but you can get either cloth or leather trimmed vinyl seats. It just doesn’t make sense to me if that isn’t also marine grade vinyl but who knows.

No mention of the flooring drains on BD or OBX so I imagine it is not included in them at all.

Will also downgrade from my FE if that's the only interior choice. I really want to believe that there is more than one option for interior color and dual zone AC(which I can't believe is not standard in a $65kish vehicle)

Only one color interior option for most trims?

That is kinda lame. I really loved that white interior on the 4-door premier model
Exactly. That’s why I think this is an incomplete list. If there was only one color option for every trim, I feel like that would make the Bronco one of the few cars in history to not offer some kind of interior color choice lol.

I know. No one’s going to want to drive around a car with a United Airlines interior.

I sure hope you’re right and that the FE isn’t stuck with #bluedeath interior.

Oh no, don’t get me wrong. Like I said in my other post, I think it’s very likely FE get’s blue interior only. @PREMiERdrum said in his there might be hope for you though.

I was mainly referring to all of the other trims.

The thinking behind these packages drives me nuts. So I can’t get a body color painted roof on a wild track and can’t get the roast leather. Not even allowed. Why do this ford? Let people order what they want ??‍♂

Dang, I was hoping for body colored hard top on the base. At least if I step up, I get Cactus Gray, too. Only thing I need to know now is 2.7/auto and Sasquatch pricing and I can make my decision.
