On the PALSAPP site, what does "dispatched" mean in terms of the shipping flow? I'm assuming that this means my Bronco has been assigned for pick up and delivery?
Update....just got email from the dealer. It has been shipped and is expected at the dealer within the next 24 hours!!

Just for a data point, I have a 2dr OBX (so MIC), Lux, 4A, 2.7, Leather, roof rails, switches. Reservation was within first 2 hours, and early allocation at dealer.

Blend date of 8/6, rotation was 6738 (so 858/890) - I knew it was late in the run, so wasn't expecting much for the week of 8/2.

Modules popped over the weekend, production date updated to 8/9, but no built email and no shipping ETAs, so I'm assuming I was moved off to purgatory.

If it's a comfort to anyone, it seems like a few 2drs and MICs have been shipped from the 7/19 crew.

It sure seems that all MIC tops are in holding pattern. For how long who knows. Some people have been built for almost 2 months waiting.

Saw an interesting take on another thread.

Are the MIC tops being held back until checks or replacements at factory so Webasto is responsible? If they leave the factory and get delivered does that mean Ford is responsible? Would make sense so Ford doesn’t have to cover the replacement costs if needed.

I believe we’re talking hundreds if not thousands sitting there in the lot based on a few videos we’ve seen. Mine is for sure sitting there from last week.

It's great seeing those of you with August blends all passing QC.
I did a quick search in the 08/02 & 08/09 threads and cant see many tell-tale signs of "In-Production" purgatory.

Our first member of the #BadBatchBroncos has now hit 50 days in Purgatory.
Sadly, he'll most likely not get that new car smell at this point.

We kindly ask you share your excitement on twitter once you receive your new Bronco's by posting a picture while also tagging @jimfarley98 & @mrlevine politely asking them what's the deal with your fellow comrades stuck in #BadBatchBroncos? #NoBroncoLeftBehind.

It's certainly more of a headache for Ford to address if the top is delivered and a manufacturing defect is discovered once in the hands of the customer, both from a logistical and a PR standpoint. I have to imagine, though, that Ford's contract with Webasto puts the costs of replacing defectively manufactured tops on Webasto rather than Ford, with Ford being responsible if there's an issue on their end in transport and/or manufacturing. If that's not the case, then I'd be happy to give Ford my card because they need better lawyers.

What COULD be happening (and this is really just wild speculation) is that their contract allows Ford to either cancel the deal or get compensated if a certain portion of the delivered tops are shown to be defective and/or not merchantable.

Or Ford simply doesn't want more pictures of honeycombed/fraying tops showing up on the internet and so they're holding them all back until they can double check that that won't happen. Who knows!

I was 8/5 build with MIC and I’ve received no updates, still in production even though I know it was built that day.

I’m not sure but I doubt Ford is going to continue to make hard tops if they think there may be a problem with them a few weeks down the road. Maybe holding the ones built 3 weeks ago to keep an eye on them but they did have a shutdown the 3rd week of July to regroup.
Sounds like you have every option. Paint protection? The ones that have to go to the body shop to finish the build have been taking another week after production. Keep your fingers crossed and give it another week to get your built email. I have a feeling your right on track!

Most of us have NOT received “built” emails yet. I’ve been “in-production” for several days. Gotta worry about our own Broncos first! 🤣

Hopefully this means the 8/5 and 8/6 builds aren’t far behind!

Are you "pending" over at Palsapp.com?

I'm a 2dr as well, but my dealer was able to see that I was back from the Body Company 6 days ago now. Still no built e-mail though.
