Put it off as long as I can. Just ordered new tires for my truck 😒. Could wait anothermonth but definitely need for fall/winter and don’t see me getting my 2dr/lux/tow/sas anytime soon. Might as well enjoy the new grip on road/trail some.
I'm in the same boat.

Wife and I had a discussion yesterday. We basically set a date that if we have to wait until "X" date, we will go another route and I'll buy something else and circle back to a Bronco the purchase after that. This is getting pretty ridiculous. Covid, chip shortage, tops, demand aside. I am getting sick of the mileage I am putting on the F-150. I did not buy it to be a daily driver and I sold my daily back in May at the peak of trade in values.

Oh you've been telling family/friends October too?
Yep same boat. Gonna just start saying "idk"
I had a family event this last weekend, pretty sure I was asked at least 4 times. My new canned answer at this point is IDK maybe next year.

What we're seeing now is the truth. Ford was aware of the size of the issue, they started scheduling as a means for false hope. They then built the list of reasons why yours can't be built. To avoid exposure, the "May email" was withheld because it would have exposed the reality, and here we are today with nothing. Is anyone really surprised?

Looks more and more like my wife will be right. She’ll have a better chance in getting the redesigned next-gen 4runner before taking delivery of her Bronco. We have 2 bronco orders too. So between 2 loaded 4dr BL and a 2022 loaded F250/350 thats $200k in sales Ford will potentially lose just from us, simply due to the lack of communication and mishandlings of this debacle. I was calling it a s*** show late 2020 and people were defending ford left & right. I also said 8 months ago that hard tops would be the issue and majority would be getting soft tops. People didn’t agree and became heated. I don't want to say my hunches tend to be spot on but well…?

If I was at Jeep, I'd come out with an conquest incentive offer for any Bronco reservation holders who come in and buy a Jeep and show proof that they subsequently cancelled their Bronco reservation. Now is the time for them to strike back at Ford and steal thousands or purchasers. Jeep has inventory issues too, just like everyone else, but they don't have the production problems on top of that. I drive and F150 and own Ford stock, but if you have an opportunity to strike at a competitor going after your most profitable product, I think you sweep the leg! #CobraKai (For the record, I'd mush prefer to have a Bronco than a Wrangler, but that doesn't mean I'll sit here forever, or that I can't be persuaded)

Maybe one year from now, this will be our reaction when we think about the Bronco rollout? Hope so!

More questions than answers, though I guess that isn't saying much.

There was supposed to be scheduling this week, but now there won't be.

Issues remain with no clear solutions.

The trucks are amazing, the few issues are maddening. And addressing these amid a sustained supply chain mess, materials backlog, and labor shortages are setting things back, and back, and back.

Takeaway from my conversations is that they are super gun shy about making more promises that can't be delivered upon. The ceiling of MY21 builds keeps getting lower.
I guess that is good that they are at least aware they need to get their shit together. At the same time though, aren't they gonna have to start churning out what they can to keep the assembly line running or would they just have MAP build more rangers or do they just have enough on their plate trying fix the screw ups

I love how Ford provides zero communication to it's reservation holders who have been waiting OVER A YEAR about the delays in scheduling. Unacceptable.
What do you mean? They sent out a sticker with some sketches of a bronco. It was super informative!

They are aware I am sure, but they are doing nothing about it from what we can all see.

So, does this change your earlier comments that they will not be correcting and shipping the backlog this week, since there are "no clear solutions"?
