Only the region can change an order back to 99, and it’s at the request of the dealership… and an order can not be transferred once placed (only reservations).I wonder if you could 99 your order then maybe change dealers before the 22MY rolls out. If this is not a possibility I would cancel the order completely and make damn sure the dealer didn't get the allocation.
They're gonna tack on $10k to your Bronco and.no matter how cool they are the fact is they're not worth the negative equity.
If I were OP, I would refer to any communication that already occurred, and let the dealership know that even if it’s not a “contract” per se, it’s still technically a contract they agreed on and is in writing… and they are welcome to do whatever sleazy thing they want to unsuspecting buyers, but they’re gonna have to honor the agreement made at order time or there will be hell to pay.
In the very least that can be social media, or I would bluff and say you have a lawyer on retainer that doesn’t cost a dime, and they’ll spend more on fighting the civil actions than they’ll save just honoring the deal.
