In AZ you get your registration money back, minus a $28 fee. There are some nice incentives right now for dealers that still have 2020s on the lot. We got about $7k in incentives on my wife's F-150 a couple weeks ago.
I was 4 days from expiration. Nothing to get back. Sanderson had a group of 2020 Continentals with $14k off sticker, $2k private cash and X plan. I could have gotten a $79k Black Label for around $60k. I didn't really want to buy a 20. The 21 Aviators are done and no 22's at least until August. With all of the incentives, now was the right time for me.

I am seriously contemplating buying a new Vette until the Bronco comes out finally. I work remote, it's only me and my son, and I'd like to trade the Rav4 in ASAP so I get the most out of its present bluebook value. We can have a fun summer in an impractical car I'd never buy otherwise. Once the Bronco arrives, I'll trade in the Vette. Decisions, decisions.

I’ve waited this long and for me, anything else would be just another car

I keep saying the Bronco is my mid-life crisis convertible, if I can't have it then a used Ferrari California T is really tempting me to get as a fun convertible for the summer.

Pretty sure my wife might be able to tell the difference though.

Yeah, I just meant that if you had paid the current registration, you would have got most of it back. Of course, how long the MVD would actually take to send it to you is a pretty open question.

We were planning on buying my wife a used 2017 or 2018 F-150, but with the 2020 incentives Ford is throwing arround, it made a lot more sense to buy a brand new one than one with 30-50K miles on it. Plus she got a "pretty color" and the package she wanted (STX).

Yes there are other good options out there. Am really giving more thought of using the Bronco funding to place an order for a 2022 Raptor instead, assuming Ford knows how to still build those. 2nd day reservation, March 11 conversion and no build email yet.

I will be super pissed to have a day one reservation and get pushed to 2022. I will still continue with the process though. I want a Bronco and nothing else.

The only thing that would make me possibly back out would be if they cancelled my 2021 agreed to price and made me pay the 2022 inflation price.

I got tired of this Ford fiasco! I had a day 3 Wildtrak 2 door with tow package and upgraded bumper with High package! They forced us into a Mic top and now that is an issue. I would probably be lucky to see it by summer 2022 the way Ford is Rolling these things out. I have canceled and gotten my deposit back. I will enjoy a new truck in 2 weeks! Maybe someday once they work everything out I may come back but I may be done with Ford for awhile. Good luck to you All!

I don't think most dealers are cancelling when someone backs out, so Ford isn't seeing any real difference. My salesman sent my deposit back, but said the Bronco is still mine if I decide to change my mind up until someone else decides to buy it.

IF (big IF) Ford decided to offer the new Ranger with a stick-shift, I could see changing my order to a Ranger.

Sold the Mustang, which is fine. No point in a convertible in summer anyway. Driving my wife's old Expy while waiting on my Bronco. So long as the Expy doesn't need any major repairs, I'll hold out for the Bronco. Otherwise, might have to by a Taco or something to drive while waiting.
All those wanting a M/T Ranger Ford just sent me tools for the shop for just that!

I booted myself to a 22’ cause it was unlikely I was seeing mine this year even with a soft top...SAS, Lux and tow constraints 🙄 Might go through with it next year but if I’m really digging the Jeep then I’m not going to.

Ordered a JL Rubicon with the Ecodiesel Thursday. Got my VIN today. Say what you want about Jeep but...damn that was fast! Should see it in 4-6 weeks. Considering I chose Cyber Orange for my mystical Bronco build...I had to one up myself. The Jeep is gonna be lime green (Gecko) 🤟

Although I am a vary inpatient man ,I'm not going anywhere, I live and breathe Broncos , since I own and restore classic Broncos and have been waiting since 04 for one to come out, I will hold out for how ever long it takes. I'm a day 4, WT , mod top so 22 -23 ?
Dont get me wrong ,its killing me having to endure all the challenges that ford has put us all through, I am vary optimistic this will be worth the wait in the end. :p

I am just happy to have something to look forward to. What is a little bit of a head scratcher to me is why there are so many people posting on a thread like this and/or on this forum still at all if they have already purchased a different vehicle. I also am not quite certain why this is the 27th thread (nothing against you OP) asking whether or not people are going to cancel or ride it out, but I guess mine is not to reason why. One could ask why the hell I am still reading them :ROFLMAO:.

Nobody is sure. We’re all rolling the dice right now. But if I have to wait anyways, then gathering more real world info and weighing alternatives only makes sense.
That's where you are wrong. I am 100% sure. I am getting a Bronco. I am getting the Bronco I ordered. I am satisfied with Ford's communication process. In fact, they have provided far more information, than any of us should have expected. As for "real-world" info, how much more "real-world" can it get, than to see those trucks actually on the trails, conquering Moab and the like?

You're looking for an excuse to get out, and you want this community to tell you that you are right. Just get out. You don't need anyone to agree with you. Just do it.
