From the collaboration of a couple of us here we know that non-squatch BD, OBX, and BL all have the same height suspension and therefore 33s will fit the lower trims the same way they fit BL. I believe it was also determined through part numbers that base shares the same suspension as other lower trims.

So TLDR: 33s fit every Bronco.
This is news to me. I don’t remember seeing any info here or otherwise that suggests BL is the same height suspension as Base - OB. All
I’ve seen is that there are basically three different suspension heights:

1. Base - OB
2. BL
3. WT, FE, Anything Squatched

If you’ve got info otherwise, I’d legit be very interested in it.
Well then I guess someone needs to get started on some portal spindles. ;)

Also, can I just take a minute to feel smug about cautioning people to stay away from the 0 offset wheels until we know more?

When it comes to front suspension and steering geometry, sh*ts complicated, yo.

Okay, thanks, I’m done. Moving on…

A member measured a BL in Chicago and I measured a BD and OBX, all had 6" even between rear axle and frame. All three had towing, which rules out discrepancies for the theories that towing makes it sit higher. I measured front hub to fender on both as well but I haven't seen a clear measurement of that on BL, just fender to ground which took some extrapolating.

Man I forgot about those. I sure do hope they produce those so I can lose my life savings on them.

What was your opinion of the CV boot angle as far as premature wear on the red rig with 37's? Any billows making contact?
Great question, The CV's look good.

Can anybody recall what the wheel offset is on the factory BD aluminum wheels? I’d be looking at fitting 285/70R17 on them and wonder if offset will be an issue or if I will need to buy wheels as well.
Also, what plastic exactly might need to be trimmed to fit 33s on stock suspension?

What I'm curious about is with the 35 vs 37 fitment issue this is going to come down to tire brand not just a blanket tire size. Several MT tires out there in the 35 range are actually barely bigger then a 33 mounted. Same goes for 37's like BFG KM3's may be called a 37, but in reality they are close to 35's mounted. Now if you were talking a 37 like the Gladiator X comp MT's which I have personally used in addition to Nitto Mud Grapplers. They were closer to a true 37's mounted they were 36.7 under load. My concern is a BFG 37 really a 35 will fit with the 3 inch lift, but other brands might not any clarification on this @dirtstar2002?

I’d believe them too, but I didn’t hear that in the video. I heard them refer to the “black” shocks of the models and the “yellow” shocks of the squatch… but no mention of the “yellow” shocks of the Badlands…

Adding further confusion, in this very thread Ryan said there is no difference between BL and Squatch shocks lending credence to BL being different than Base (even after North7 shared the thread with the different P/Ns and design)

The real world measurements are intriguing, but those one-off measurements contradict published specs… but let’s say the Position sensitive shocks on the BL are designed to be the exact same length as the black ones… that still doesn’t jive with the physical difference visible between say an OB and a BL in terms of height and wheel well clearance.

So according to everything presented so far, we can say:

Base shares same suspension height as BL, but BL is higher, and squatch is the highest, but is also the same height as BL, and the BL and Sas shocks are different but also the same.

I’m not trying to argue just to be contrarian… I legit don’t think we know what’s going on yet…. And I just desperately want to have some definitive answers for once and it’s just getting worse not better and I’m tire so very tired.

I win! I ordered +35mm Methods.
Noice! Which ones? I'm thinking of the 105 V3. How did you determine the offset? I've been trying to figure it out.
