What Ford can source the Sasquatch parts for price wise and what 4WP is sourcing theirs for are completely different. Can't compare the two. A chunk of the 4WP pricing is labor. Do it yourself if you think it's too expensive.

price lists wont be available until probably late july, early august....these kits are a ford exclusive package like rugged ridge, roush, black widow, etc......but yes the rock rail sliders will be available (are on the stage 2 package) and the exo products are still planned along with lighting, racks and interior products

I have a badlands ordered and i have the 35” wheels and tires already..what is the best lift to get if I want to stick with the factory suspension? I only want a 2” lift. Will a leveling kit do?

As you should have if you wanted it. Everyone who didn't get Sasquatch or a Badlands is going to regret it when they start pricing out lifts, tires/wheels, lockers. OEM can't be beat for the money in the Broncos case.

The look at the LTV (loan to value) the same way they look at $10-$20k markups on shelby or roush mustangs, They book out at a GT mustang with a value of $30k but sell for $65k+ . Most banks are willing to go up to 155% LTV with good credit. so a $40k bronco they will loan up to $55k+, and most dealers have a lender for aftermarket specifically if the bank for the vehicle wont approve. most of the time its a place like lendmark or one main financial

I appreciate you patiently humoring many of these questions, but there's another "thing" at work that's being left unsaid.

Most of these guys are just trying to cope with sticker shock of the cost of a lift and good mods on the Bronco.

Your pricing is actually pretty good for all that you get. A few months back in some thread I tried to tell some guys that a quality 2"-3" lift on this IFS would be north of $8K; key word being quality.

You can already get a stage 2 lift (Badlands/Sasquatch) that with the total package is more like a stage 3 set up.

The 4WP package is for guys who have bypassed the factory options and want to go straight to an aftermarket build; which is what you've put in a package for a reasonable price.

Lifting a Bronco isn't cheap like a Wrangler and if you don't have the Badlands package and parts, getting it all together where everything fits together and labor is a good deal.

In another couple of months, reality will set in and all of this will seem normal to the forum members.

Lifting a Bronco isn't cheap like a Wrangler

Actually what is being installed is pretty easy and only differ due to the Upper A Arms and coil-over vs separate shock and coil overs on a wrangler. The rear suspension is identical to a Wrangler.

It's all unbolting and re-bolting So unless you are totally terrified of a jack, wrenches and ratchets. I don't see anything being difficult especially if you have a second person helping.

An answer to your question isn't a simple one. Really depends on what you view as "maintenance".

Off road vehicles have a lot going on; particularly if you actually wheel. Wheeling presents wear and tear, so maintenance will likely be more than if you never leave the pavement; but this doesn't point to a problem.

parts for off roaders are swapped and upgraded with some regularity as guys tinker with their rigs. This will of course vary from guy to guy as far as those who do our own wrenching vs. cost of taking to a shop.

Building as you go in a sort of Frankenbuild where you mix a ton of parts here and there may lead to more maintenance if the proper mix isn't taken into consideration.

A kit from one tuner who did some R&D on parts and fit and finish will usually cut down on issues down the road, but this is not a guarantee.

Building a rig is full of potential risk, but the rewards are fun when wheeling, so most of us who do this as a hobby walk in with eyes open.

However, as long as you're not doing things in your Bronco that would normally require a cage and harness, you should be able to enjoy years of trail running with little problems other than normal wear unless you start banging shit on rocks or roots.

Buy what you can, give it a shot, then upgrade where you see you actually need to to improve capability, comfort, or power.

@MadMan4BamaNATL gave you a pretty solid answer and there's a few things I'll add. A lift and tires will take you many places over the stock base setup. It really depends how serious you are going to wheel it. If you add a 2in lift and some aggressive 33's down the road to your base it will be a solid rig. 35's, lockers, etc... expand on the capabilities, but buying each part separately and paying for labor to install them will cost you more in the long run than the Sasquatch package would have.
