What happened yesterday should cost several people their jobs, what a cluster. None of us know what is going on, the dealers don't know what is going on, and nothing is communicated. I've seen several dealers, including mine, that didn't have anything schedule yesterday. Also what a joke that they made such a huge deal out of your reservation timestamp only to piss all over that on day 1 of scheduling. I've seen several people with my exact build post build dates and their reservations are days and even weeks behind mine. If their goal is to piss people off, they are on a great track.
I feel your pain. This is what happens when the public is informed by a public source of information. We had a very early reservation, yet we didn't get an email for production of our Bronco. We too thought that we had our place in line and a guaranteed timeline. One thing that I didn't know is that dealership performance may have a factor on how many orders they can process, possible causing line skipping. While that isn't intuitive for a lay person like myself, it would make sense to consider their stakeholders and customers at the same time.
Perhaps my luck wasn't in this draw of the hat?

If you think this thread is expressing a lot of frustration, just wait until the promised emails come from Ford in May and someone at a large volume dealer with a timestamp of 7/15 finds out he is a MY22 build (due to the high number of earlier reservations and his dealer allocations) and sees someone at another dealer with a late August timestamp is getting his MY21!

I hope I'm wrong but I can see it shaping up this way.
I have July 20th and am already scheduled. My dealer has 40 orders and im in the top 5.

This, is correct. Ford DGAF about us as individual customers. Hell, they barely give a crap about all but their biggest dealers. It's on page 2 of their annual report:

I am not a fan of this either, but online customers have the option to back out of a purchase after the product has been built. A dealership is a sure sale from the manufacturer that they will move product.

Keep your heads up my Bronco comrades! I pray that all our wishes are granted in due time!

Keller Brothers in Lititz PA. I've been super unhappy with them, I think I've received maybe 2 emails from them in the last year that I didn't have to initiate.
I haven’t received any from my dealer either, but when I email them they do respond quickly. I have no idea where I am in position at this time. My dealer was only allocated 7 last they told me and I know my reservation was higher than that. But when I ordered (I was first order at the dealership) he said that some reservations had cancelled and he didn’t know if all of the other reservations would convert to orders. Honestly i haven’t even tried to find out where I stand because I’m torn between wanting it now and thinking I should wait until any issues are ironed out.
I‘m guessing your dealer in Lititz is a higher volume dealer than the little one I went to in Lehighton.

A dealer won’t know for certain when you’ll receive your Bronco, but they absolutely know where your rank is at their dealer and what their allocation is.

That said, commodity availability and other factors are obviously playing a major role in the handful of people who were scheduled last week, so even the best guesses are still just that.
I’m not certain that’s true Zack. Over the several hours that the build/email process played out, virtually every build listed builds with multiple product constraints options and even countless FE builds with the late availability Black Leather option. It’s a good thing that late availability and commodity constrained items were being included in so many builds and that those builds were announced earlier than advertised, but it doesn’t appear that those initial constraint options were a factor in the build rack and stack process that played out yesterday. I’m hopeful that we will receive some information from Ford sooner rather than later that will shed light on their process that currently appears so random. And I trust that you as a straight shooter all these months will be at the forefront of communicating that information to those of us trying to make sense of it all. Thank you.

BRONCO SCHEDULING / PRODUCTION UPDATE

April 15th marked an important milestone for Bronco: the first week of scheduling Bronco retail orders!! Customers will receive automated communications from Ford letting them know when their vehicle is ordered, scheduled, built, and shipped to the dealership.

Thursday scheduling will continue on a weekly basis with the following monthly cadence:

· First Week of The Cycle: First Edition orders

· Second Week of The Cycle: First attempt at full month of scheduling

· Subsequent Weeks: Clean up scheduling runs until the operating plan is full

As a reminder, we will send all order holders a communication in May notifying them of their estimated delivery timeframe based on their current build, production volume, and allocation.

So does this mean the next FEs won’t be scheduled until next cycle/month, since yesterday was the “first week of the [first] cycle?”

Wow! You received 2 unsolicited communications from your dealer? We all should be so lucky. 🙂
Well, they didn't reach out during important times, and that's been the frustration. When orders opened up I didn't get an email, or when the news about certain things pushing back model year I didn't get an email. Just annoying to be spending $35K+ on a vehicle and feel like I"m the one doing the legwork.

So does this mean the next FEs won’t be scheduled until next cycle/month, since yesterday was the “first week of the [first] cycle?”
That's how I read it.... but it doesn't say that they're limiting the number of FE... just that the first week of scheduling will be dedicated to FE's (until parts run out, I imagine). I.E. if they had the parts on hand to only build FEs in the next block, that's all that would get built.

Then the second week dedicated to filling out the rest of the cycle.

Third week closing the gaps and finalizing the plan.

Then, that gives a full scheduling block to stock up on parts again, and begin again, focusing on FEs first.

Amen to that my friend. I love that you acknowledged Wyoming does indeed have at least one redeeming quality. Thank you for the positivity.
Wyoming has a few redeeming qualities. It's one of the few places that's still empty, and it's very pretty there.

It's also fucking windy to a fault, has no economy unless you own a ranch or a bank, and has no good mexican food.

Source, I grew up in Cheyenne, too.

Assuming this is coming from Ford, then this is the best new information in the thread. Thank you.

This also infers that FEs will be built based on timestamp and commodity constraints over a period of months and not all being built first. I read this because they are saying that this is a monthly cadence and that FEs will be the scheduled during the first week of that cycle so that means they are expecting multiple months/cycles with FEs being scheduled.

Nobody deserves to lose their job just because you can't handle someone else getting to drive their 2021 Ford Bronco before you.
Seriously. There is some asinine shit going on with some people.

It is and it hit my inbox at 1:20pm EST today.

Haha. Well, we do have Warren AFB, and recent Companies like Magpul and Stag Arms that have moved to Cheyenne....... but the wind and your Mexican food complaint has some validity when we all walk with a slight tilt and our best Mexican restaurant is Taco Johns. Lol.
