LOCK UP YOUR DOORS - HOW?

- YOU HAVE DOORS ON FOR THE 4 HOUR DRIVE TO THE CAMP GROUND.
- FOR DRIVING AROUND THE CAMPING AREA, YOU WANT DOORS OFF.

- THERE IS NO WAY TO CHAIN THEM TO A TREE!
* BECAUSE THE DOORS HAVE FRAMELESS GLASS.

Q: WHAT DO YOU DO, HOW TO SECURE YOUR DOORS WHEN YOU ARE OUT PARKED AT A TRAIL HEAD OR SWIMMING OR FISHING?
* INSTALL EYE-BOLTS TO THE INSIDE OF THE PANELS SOMEHOW...?

Where is your tent? Put them inside under a sleeping bag.

Why can’t you chain/cable them to a tree? Unless of course there are no trees where you are at.

theres no frame around the windows, like the jeep doors pictured. You could probably run a cable through the bolt holes or something though.

Nothing on the door to run a chain or cable through.

My guess is the thought process was that since the Bronco has frameless windows, you can't run a chain through the window frame to lock the doors up, but didn't consider on the inside of the door seems to be a pretty solid grab handle that can be used to run a chain through and secure.

Nobody wants to drive 4 hours on the freeway witn no doors....
Ok, it’s no big deal to do that, so I wouldn’t say “no one”. That’s like saying no one would ride a motorcycle for 4 hours on the freeway.... Have done it on the way to the beach and it’s fun and a cool way to travel. But if it’s not your thing and you’re driving 4 hours there and 4 hours back and don’t have a hotel room or room in the back to put them, then I guess you’re SOL or you hide them somewhere. Best option is leaving them home and enjoying the open air drive...

yea...I know - the Jeep photo was just an image to get people thinking,
Thats the whole problem, the glass is frameless so noplace for a chain to lock.
I think any bolt holes will be too small.....
