A point easily negated by the dealer already mentioned that is right outside of Philly. I know New Yorkers often think much of themselves but Philly seems like a decently large "town".
Grew up around Philly. Horsham is not a cheap place to live or do business in...

I respect everyone's opinion here, accompanied with the way their employer chooses to do business. I stand corrected when using the word reputable. Perhaps not the right choice of words, but the dealer that chooses to sell their vehicles at a percentage under invoice may find themselves with other challenges.

With almost 20 years experience with Ford, having been recognized as one of the top 100 producers in North America by Ford Motor Company, I do not find myself being categorized as the typical salesperson.
You aren't listening to what people here are telling you.

The majority on this forum live and breathe for this vehicle. We've been waiting almost a full year for it and nothing to do but collect information and share it because of COVID.

We are not Dick and Jane who came in off the street after liking the commercial Ford put out and want to order one.

I'm in sales myself (not in cars) and you are trying too hard to earn business this late in the game. Your timing is off. If you were here months ago bullshitting with us daydreaming, fantasizing, and sharing your own personal build with us great we'd be a lot easier to get on your side.

But simply posting "Email me for how to get your Bronco at MSRP, no games we promise!" ain't enough. Go do that on Facebook.

If you were a Bronco fan, getting one yourself, and actually spent some time to join and add value to the community you'd have had a lot warmer welcome.

And to be misinformed about what the process is and what's being offered at this point is really just sad. He just posted in another thread that if Ford offers X-plan they'll honor it. You're 5 months too late buddy.

"Typical salesman" seems pretty apt. No knowledge of the Bronco specifically. No sign of giving a damn about the vehicle. He just thought he'd give this internet thing a shot and see if he could drum up some showroom traffic.

Might want to rip on back to the drawing board and find something better to come back with than “I won’t screw you on add-ons and I’m charging you full price for my troubles”.

Not screwing your clients is a prerequisite, not a value add.

PS: if you would have taken ten minutes to do some digging here you would have the lay of the land and knew how to best position your dealership to this forum without needing to change anything about your offer. Instead, you find yourself in an L-shaped ambush from which there is likely no recovery.

I mean this right here is why as a Long Islander I moved my reservation to @StephensAutoCenter

None of the dealers locally were any pleasure to work with, and even those that were straight with me, couldn't do better than MSRP and typically went down the same excuse line you see here by Lee (Cost of doing business, good luck with them can be full of surprises, etc).

That's why I'm willing to drive 10+ hours for a better deal, but more importantly better service. You know the kind that doesn't treat their potential customer as a complete idiot as if no one has access to the internet and a google search.

I'm thinking forum members are going to want a clear idea of pricing relative to MSRP or Invoice this late in the game before switching. In reality most are likely to have converted to orders already and from what I've heard the process to undo an order with one dealer and move to another is taking way longer than the 4 days someone would have before the 3/19 cutoff for 1st quarter of Bronco production. I wish you the best but thinking it might be too late to the party for additional business if that was your goal. That said I wish you the best and look forward to any insights you might have along with some of the other informative dealers on this site.
I'd say it time to get the meat hook. You are way too late to the party.

One of the few that listened and I'm glad it has paid dividends for you. To be honest, I didnt move my reservation to you based my ideal position I have in my local dealers allocation but based on our brief interaction a while back would not have thought twice if circumstances were different.

I love these threads including when dealers come on here months too late and don't realize we know far more than them. I don't even consider myself that knowledgeable, but I'm sure I know more than this guy. This board is like a piranha tank. Not smart

So Lee, since your back - can you share your preliminary allocation of Broncos and how many reservations you have at this point? This will give members an idea of where they may fall in line at your dealer if they consider switching to you.
Second try, ***Crickets*** He apparently tried to baffle us with bullshit instead of dazzling us with brilliance....

But to be fair, some of the horror stories we've heard about ADM from dealers in a market area consorting with each other to fix prices at thousands above MSRP, he may be breaking from the local pack. He just ran into a buzz saw up in here...
