when you order the HARD-top on the 4 door Bronco - you AUTOMATICALLY get the Soft Top too ? - just confirming

IF am paying extra $695 for Hard Top, in which case I would be getting Soft Top Free, SOFT TOP should come free by default !!

No need to yell.

No, when you upgrade to the hard top from a soft top, you are just getting the hard top. The price is the differential price of the upgrade. The cost of the hard top alone would be much more than $695.

Lets say the soft top costs $1000. That is baked into the base price of the Bronco. That means the MIC hardtop cost $1695.

So you're paying $1695 for the hardtop MINUS the $1000 for the soft top...thus you get $695.

Dual top is both tops.

You paid the cost difference between the two, not a second top.

Yes the base price includes the cost of the soft top. For this purpose, let's just assume that the cost of a stand alone soft top is $1,000, which is included in your $50,000 MSRP 4 door.

To upgrade to the MIC hard top they add $695, but if you went and ordered a MIC hardtop at the parts department it would cost you $1,695. Since they are not going to also give you a soft top, your MSRP is now $50,695. If you wanted to keep the soft top as well, then your MSRP would be $51,695.

If you want both tops you have to pay for both tops. Ford isn't going to give you one for free.

I realize the actual amounts may be different. There is a dual top option where you can get both the MIC and soft top.

It's useless I gave literally the same explanation and we used the same phony numbers for easy math. See above.

Everything has a residual value and nothing is actually free on anything. The $695 for the hardtop is what's left after they give you trade in credit for the standard soft top. If you want both then you need to select the dual top option or save your money and keep the soft top.

It’s like upgrading wheels, you do not get both.

added: it’s more if you purchase after. If you “upgrade” consider it a savings on wiring install...

Yeah - you can probably get that guy in the recovery video to drag it to you! 😜
