The front bumper drilling for the plate is a much bigger concern... the sticker / badge is at least removable easily. Annoying, but easy.

I have done that too. I also, made my Porsche dealer put on the agreement, NO HOLES in the front bumper for License Plate holder. No font plate required in NC. So, NO, I DON'T WANT HOLES and DEALER ADVERT PLATE in the font.

THIS. I special ordered a Mustang with oddball base model options and told them if it had a front plate on it when I came to pick it up good luck selling it to someone else. I will no purchase a vehicle with front plate holes in TN, they are not required.

We have a dealer that puts a chrome colored badge on all their vehicles. They are always crooked. The worst is when they are on “black out” models. Someone paid extra for no chrome but nope here is the dealership crooked chrome badge...

when i purchase a vehicle i also tell the dealer no stickers or plate frames on the vehicle..im not paid to advertise for them .. if they treat me right then i will tell people word of mouth and nothing more ...

The worst offense was way back on the dodge STEALTH, that the make and model were color matched to blend in, and then there’d be a huge chrome dealer sticker slapped on.

Always put it in the sales agreement. If you're buying off the lot, make them take it off before you accept the vehicle.

Eh I'd say less than half of three population cares. My wife's Altima still has "CarMax" on the back of it. "Enthusiasts" obviously won't be a fan. I don't even want a front license plate until I can get creative.

I had my dealer to make a note when order was placed to not have any dealer badging installed on bronco that they were not paying me to advertise

I passed up on a used car once because it had front plate holes in the bumper. Front plates should be abolished.

I'll be the odd duck here... I personally welcome the dealer sticker on the back of a new car.
But that's because of the time honored tradition of celebrating a new car purchase by removing the sticker when I get home, and giving the car a nice driveway baptism with soap and water.
