I'm glad that Ford forgot to factor in customers' desires to have TIRES and ENGINES in their production process.

The allocations come after the converted orders, as that plays a role in the allocation formula. Those two orders will be 2022s in that scenario. They would be prioritized in 2022 MY since they're retail orders as opposed to stock orders. They would be scheduled when the

Ok. I just watched the video and I have not read all of the comments so someone may have already posted something along these lines. What did I get out of it.... Not much, a lot of non committal comments. Also the relationship between BN and Ford is very incestuous. It is a bit like watching unnamed politicians go on CNN and get softballs. I would like to see Ford make themselves available for interviews from a B6G rep. With that said I am not in rush to get a Bronco but the interview was annoying. I think that we all understand that it is more efficient for Ford to get the order and schedule them into runs of like builds.
You missed my post that Bronco Nation is simply run by a Ford marketing company.
Because Bronco Nation is Ford's hack marketing outfit, carrying out their scripted marketing agenda. BN is masquerading as a user forum but is in fact run by one of Ford's marketing companies, Jackson Dawson, now you know the rest of the story.

Hi,

I'm not sure what I can give you as an update. This really isn't new information. Outside of ordering being pushed back. Things have remained the same for us. We're I'm a wait and see mode. We were all ready for ordering by now, but we find out information as you do.

If there's anything specific I can answer I'll do my best to help.

If anything the pushing back of orders I think has helped those dead set on ordering because others have grown impatient with the waiting game understandably.

It'll all depend on what allocation looks like for when we know timing and unfortunately we won't have a good idea on that until after the March cutoff.
Zach

Appreciate the reply. Just hearing something is better than nothing. It was uncharacteristic to not have heard any updates from you guys.

My apologies, I am not surprised. Nothing to risk when you control the questions.

Edit: I am saying this as someone who's father and uncles retired from Ford and many family members still working for them. I am a big blue oval fan but do not like my questionable intelligence insulted.

Thanks Zach, always appreciate the candor. Given your comment on allocation, I had a follow-up: say Granger has 1000 reservations from the first night, the kind of reservations that would be the earliest at most dealerships in the country. Am I right in interpreting what we know about allocation so far to assume that, all other things being equal, order number 800 of those 1000 reservations might be delivered much later than a later timestamp at a different dealership because of this this algorithm?

Argh!
Not a deal breaker in the grand scheme but I was definitely willing to wait for a delayed Bronco to get that factory installed.

Oh well. Maybe by calendar 2023 they will have a solution

Honestly "ford sig" said working on it. Why Ford asked for this additional 6-8 weeks to make sure quality is A1 on par! So I think it's going to work still! Fingers crossed!! ??

You would think that the whole concept of First Edition is that Ford would make sure the first allocations of 2.7's and Squatch drivetrains would be allocated to FE's.

I'm thinking that with Rangers being built in the same plant the 2.3 with the automatic won't have supply issues. Hopefully bolting the manual to the 2.3 is just as available.

I wonder if Ford is getting an some good estimates on fuel economy and want to limit squatches and 2.7's because they will hurt CAFE numbers?

The part when the flannel guy said they don’t want a highly optioned Bronco sitting on the lot after a customer backs out cracked me up. Might be on the lot for about 10 minutes.
The part where he said not to switch from a Base Blue to a Red WildTrak Sasquatch made me chuckle. Where can I get one of those non-Sasquatch WildTraks?
