Honestly I will probably feel fine tomorrow, but I think I would have been happier not knowing anything about allocation and the production schedule until after I got my estimated delivery date, than knowing the smallest thing could throw my order off and that the most important option to me (2.7L) might cause the biggest delay.

I took it as he was saying that Sasquatch and the 2.7 are POPULAR items and not that they are LIMITED items.

I have 2 reservations. 1 with a very low-volume dealer (less than 10 Bronco reservations) and 1 with a very high-volume dealer. This will be interesting...

Are you buying two? If not won't you have to convert before you know which dealer will deliver first?

In addition to being popular, they also have the highest MSRP. If you can only churn out X number of Broncos, I would look at my time stamps and see what the highest margin items are that I could push through production. If you are publicly traded, you are thinking about top line revenue. $40k units vs $60k units. This is one reason I think First Editions will run through the line quickly. Just my thoughts...

Commodity Constraints , even if the reservation number holds the place in line can still be delayed by those constraints and dealer allocation. I’m including in my build sas and 2.7 bd wonder if that’s custom custom custom , it’s going to be awhile until I get mine I think.

Don’t choose sasquatch
Don’t change options after placing order
Don’t go with a popular dealers
Dont choose 2.7 L

OR, don’t be a July 16+ reservation holder, IF you want those options AND you want 2021.

Ford has said a lot since reveal. The game will change once dealers start to convert orders. Some of these smaller dealers have some good deals for customers. Once they begin converting at higher numbers Ford will begin to cater to the smaller dealers.

So with his response about the allocations to dealers...

Does this mean that dealers like Granger that have tons of reservations could potentially have 1st or 2nd day reservations holders that get pushed to 2022?

Just because they have so many and only get allocated “X”

Ford can’t just having 25% of the Broncos going to 4 dealerships that offer a good deal. There has to be some spread out, for logistics and financial reasons. Also the big dealers are also the most profitable for ford themselves, so they basically expect to be “rewarded” with more Broncos. Also Ford wants more Broncos in places where 4runners and jeeps are more popular, so Arizona/Cali/Colorado are going to get more than New England will. The system sucks but with as limited as Broncos are going to be they need to make sure people are getting them who they are prioritizing. Also I bet they are worried about scalpers getting a good deal and reselling.

My main concern is that by ordering a Basetrak I automatically get put at the back of the line even though I’m day 1 reservation.

i would wish for a 22 delivery with my end of october res... but apparently, m 27th on 30 allotment. It makes no sense to me that i would get it before previous reservations holders
