if anyone's that shady and aren't upfront with the price until you go to sign, they deserve a slap in the face lolUnfortunately that’s still no guarantee that they don’t hike up the price when you go to sign

Sadly a high IQ is not required to do his job. Ask him how he thinks he could "go there and buy those Broncos all day long". This is the level of intelligence we have in this country today.I have a reservation at my local Ford dealer in Greeley Colorado. Since build and price is out I decided to got talk to them and see how they will be pricing things. The response I got was "we don't know yet". The sales rep informed me that for years they sold the Raptor at 10K over MSRP. He said they were going to see what other dealers in the area were doing and charge accordingly. The example he gave was "If they are charging 5k over MSRP, then we'll probably be charging 3k over MSRP."
When I asked about MSRP pricing he just laughed. So it's pretty clear they will be charging over MSRP, and be talking with the other Ford dealers in the area to see what they can get.
I told him there were other dealers who were offering below MSRP, and even below invoice. He laughed and said "Well we will go there and buy those Broncos all day long then".
Let the games begin! Sounds like I'll be switching dealers.
this is so true hahah. i called a few dealers to decide where i wanted to place my reservation. One of the salesman i spoke to told me that "price is non negotiable because you would be buying the vehicle directly from ford"... i told him that ford is not tesla. Ford sells vehicles to the dealers and it literally says it clearly on ford's website that pricing is agreed upon between the buyer and the dealer and that you are NOT buying the vehicle from Ford. He still told me i was wrong LOL. Idk if people are just trying to play me or if they're really just that dumb.Sadly a high IQ is not required to do his job. Yup!Spradley Barr?

Anyway, thanks for letting me pointlessly rant
He said several things that showed his ignorance. I knew way more about what was going on with the Bronco than he did. I just listens to him and laughed (in my head).Sadly a high IQ is not required to do his job. Ask him how he thinks he could "go there and buy those Broncos all day long". Approx 25k in 2017 and 2018, dealers were limited with a certain number of allocations.Anyone know how many Raptors they sell every year? Still seem they charge full price for them, with a premium for the first few years.
Loveland Ford, spradley barr in foco, most of the state is the same your better off going to granger like a lot of us in Colorado.I have a reservation at my local Ford dealer in Greeley Colorado. The point of a reservation is to let the dealers know that you really want this vehicle and are willing to pay a premium.Isn't the point of a reservation to get no higher than MSRP ?
Interesting that isn't what I got told.... also they have their 800 ish doc fee bullshitSomeone wrote in an earlier post that the dealer in Loveland is willing to work with reservations,
Edit: Here's the thread:

Its funny you say that because I contacted Loveland Ford after talking to the rep at Spradley Barr. The internet sales manager said they would do MSRP with no dealer add ons. I even got it in writing.Loveland Ford is the same your better off going to granger like a lot of us in Colorado
Doc fee I got quoted was $695. From my conversation with them I got the impression they would deal below MSRP too.Interesting that isn't what I got told.... also they have their 800 doc fee bullshit
