Bronco test drive in the near future?

Does anyone have any inside information, or heard any rumors, about when we might see Broncos available for test drive at select dealerships? I'm really growing more and more weary of buying something that I can't sit in.

Commenting here so I get updates as well - also very curious. The fact that I likely won't even get to sit in one before having to finalize my order and being committed to a $55k+ car is a deal killer right now. I'll just wait til '22 and hope they add green or khaki.

Some dealers are hosting events in early December so that potential buyers can at least see and touch the vehicles. Doubtful that test drives will be part of that scenario...

My dealer out here in CA said they had a bronco and a bronco sport on the lot a couple weeks ago for training purposes. Wish that was made public to reservation holders so they could have swung by if they wanted.

I was lucky enough to see and touch it at Super Celebration West. It solidified my want for the Bronco over any other option but without being able to drive it I won't commit to a '21 MY order. Seeing it again and even sitting in it won't be enough for me to shell out $55k - especially if they do come out with other colors to entice reservation holders to wait. I WANT GREEN!!

Also, it's VERY unlikely any dealer near me has enough orders to get a vehicle. There are around 60 orders in my whole state.

To clarify - I was there when Bronco Nation was filming their YT video. It was outside of the ropes and they let us go up and look at it, take pics and I was able to touch much of the vehicle.

There may be something regional where you can see a pre-production (I don’t know) but Broncos will defintely not be at dealerships before ordering. It’s not possible given the production process.

Pretty sure our salesman said we wont even see a bronco until June.

Pre-production probably but closer to real Broncos in terms of exterior & interior finishes. Kearney Mesa Ford in San Diego is doing such an event on December 1st.

My dealership told me they wont have any available demos until at least June 2021, if that.

But my motto is I'm going to order it anyway, because it's a $100 deposit to build the car (no additional payment from my dealer) and I can decide if I like and buy it, or walk away and dont pay a dime come summer next year. You will be allowed to test drive your custom order next year and decide if you want to proceed with purchasing it or not.

EVEN MORE EXCITING UPDATE:

Due to the overwhelming popularity shown to our dealership since the Bronco launch, Ford has asked us to host a live Bronco event on December 1st! I don’t have many details to share yet but I do know this: We will have 2door Broncos, 4door Broncos, and Bronco Sports here on the ground for you to see! I do not believe anybody will be allowed to drive these units. I haven’t seen one in person yet so I’m extremely excited for this event! Plus this will be a cool opportunity to finally meet some of you. I will send another update in the coming weeks as I get details on times, units, colors, etc.

Hopefully he knows what he is talking about cause that means they will have others events in other regions. Wonder how they pick the Ford dealers who get the honor - 95% won’t be able to host an event like this.
