Just got back from TN. Great environment. Mostly couples, but a few people with their friends. If your wife isn't interested don't force her as even though it isn't traumatic it will make your experience worse. We had rain during the pre-drive instruction and we all got soaked. If my wife weren't interested, getting soaked could've led to a divorce.

I definitely plan to attend an Off Roadeo. I live in Florida but am thinking about trying to head to Moab. Though I am happily married, my wife has ZERO interest in attending an Off Roadeo. I'm probably going to do it alone.

To those who have attended at least one Off Roadeo, would I stick out as one of the few solo attendees, or are these events mostly attended by primary Bronco owners instead of couples? Do you have a preffered location that's not too crowded?

I live in Alabama and we made a weekend out of it done Fort Worth Waco took her to chip and Joanna’s place and she stayed at the motel the day I done the off roadeo in Texas of course but how things have changed she has a new outerbanks and we are thinking Vegas this time lol

Wife and I went to Nevada and made Vegas vacation while we were there.
She really wanted to go and to drive so it was an easy decision. Everyone’s guest did not get a Yeti that day unfortunately.
After we were done the instructor mentioned a prior +1 wife spent most the time outside the bronco learning how spot.

The Nevada location also has a little track to have fun with Baja mode.

Did the Off Rodeo in Nevada on June 6th. It was such an amazing experience! My brother lives in Vegas so I added him as a driver. Very professional operation and the hosts were fantastic. We learned so much about my Bronco and about trail riding. I'm sure seasoned trail riders would already know this stuff but as a newcomer it learned a lot. I didn't get the 4 door badlands SAS that I own but got to drive a 2 door Black Diamond sas. I would love to do the other locations but would have to save up for that.

I'm heading to Moab next week with my significant other. She really isn't interested in driving, but she's been out there before, and we are staying for a few extra days beforehand to explore and hike. Just this past weekend we watched a few Youtube videos from people who have done it before, and she is just as excited as me. We do go up to Northern Michigan often so I think her coming along will help her feel a bit more comfortable when we hit the trails and 2-tracks up there. As a matter of fact we are headed up to Northern Michigan the weekend after Moab.

We aren't going to drive there since it's 1,700 miles one way from SE Michigan, so we are going to fly into SLC, rent a car and drive the 4 hours to Moab.

We are going to stay at the Red Cliffs lodge. I know it's a bit more expensive and I'm a little apprehensive since it's under construction, but we plan on exploring the surrounding area as opposed to lounging at the pool all day.

We are pretty excited about both trips.

I did TX with one of my friends and his son. We had a blast. We traded driving. His son could not drive because he was under 18. My wife was not really interested in going. His wife did not want to go at all. We had a blast. There were a couple of people there alone. Mike Clouds runs it and his wife is there too. They are awesome!!! I highly recommend TX. If you think one day you may want to go other places to off-road, the location you choose does not matter much. If you know that you may never get to a place like Moab, by all means, go there. I would love to go. I may never get there, but I can always hope.

That's a great question, and it's a topic a lot of us have considered. The general consensus seems to be that the Bronco Off-Roadeo is a fantastic couples activity.

Going with your wife allows you to share the experience, learn together, and build some great memories. The instructors are amazing at accommodating different skill levels, and it's not all just extreme off-roading. However, if she's not interested, going solo means you can fully focus on the driving and learning. It really comes down to what you both want out of the experience!

I ended up in Moab on August 1st. My wife chose not to come along. I had the instructor, Chuck Yarbrough riding with me and had an excellent day! I sure learned a lot about the various 4WD controls and how not to screw my own Bronco!

Follow-up to my post above. We went into this with my partner really only coming to see the sites and to be a passenger (She has been out west before and loves it).

When we registered, they asked her if she wanted to drive. While she was thinking about it the guy handling the registration added that there wasn't any additional cost. She was still thinking about it until I just stepped in and told him to add her. All that they required was to see her driver's license.

We are so glad that we added her. She did some of the rock crawling but didn't want to do some of the more challenging stuff, but you should have heard her maniacal laugh while she did some of the higher speed trail/sand runs. She was having a great time. She loved the Bronco to begin with, but even more afterwards.

Prior to the event we hiked Fisher Towers along with visiting Arches National Park and Canyonlands. It was a fantastic trip and I'm glad we did it together.

I went to the TN Off Rodeo earlier this year and my wife too had no interest. I was one of the few solo drivers so our guide had me ride w him which was fantastic! We got the best one in the group, a 4 door Everglades, and the guide walked most of the day. I was even able to talk him into letting us do a little mudding! Don’t let going solo keep you from a good time!

CONVINCE HER TO GO. My wife was the same - had zero interest in attending, but I begged her to go w/me and she LOVED IT! We went to Moab, so it was an instant win just because it's beautiful - but she had a blast on the trails. She won't regret going. I promise!

Went to Vegas with my wife in December. We have two broncos now since she stole mine! I cannot think of a better vacation in quite a while. The staff was AWESOME and we both learned so much. We also took advantage of the surroundings and did a whole bunch of other things (gambling, of course, THE Rodeo was in town, Eagles at the Sphere, Hoover Dam, area 51 and a few other things.

I would have asked my wife to go even if she didn't have any interest. That was not an issue since she wanted to go and it was absolutely an awesome adventure during which we learned so much about the Bronco's capabilities.

We will be going again (hopefully to Moab); I just need to figure out the best way to get one of our Broncos there (or back) as I am not sure either of us wants to drive both ways.

We did TN and we are both neophytes and found nothing challenging. I maxed out at 14 mph on the trails which you can't consider high speed. My wife who daily drives the Bronco didn't even go that high and she is a lead foot easily doing 5-10mph faster on highways.
I wonder how different Moab was?

Here are a couple of videos my girlfriend shot while I was navigating some of the technical parts of the trail.

On the sandy straight trails, we hit about 45 mph.
