It’s been a long road my friend! Who’d a thought when Zach and Albert talked about 2k below invoice for October 2020, it would take 3+ years to get them all delivered.
No kidding, this path could not have been in anyone's plans! I reserved with intention to buy myself a 60th b'day present. I'll be 64 this summer, better late than never .
I owe it all to patiently waiting for the Mod Top - I got to see both MOD and MIC tops at Bronco SC East in Fall 2020. Compared to the Mod, the Mic looked like the gray dashboard panel from a base level work truck. With the HE trim, the overall spec is almost perfect!
I'm glad for the experience to have conversed with Albert, albeit briefly and only by e-mail. His friendly enthusiasm removed any doubt I had in taking the generous Granger offer.
Although, $2000 under invoice could be the new normal pretty soon!

I am not going to bother Granger staff with this thought, but mine may be the 2nd-to-last of the 2020 Granger reservations to be delivered.
Per their website today, the two 4 drs (40104 & 40105) which likely arrived on the truck with mine, are listed for retail sale. Three 2 drs are listed as sold: 20223 (mine), 20230 (which from this or the VIN tracker thread conversation is expected to go to retail, as the original purchaser bought a different Bronco) and 20218 which @Landofcheese has identified as their order, and is presumably STILL in production. Unless I'm reading things all wrong, 20218 would be the last (Grangetober?) Bronco reserved in 2020 to be delivered.
20218 might be the last 2023 delivered… My Grangetober 2dr HE was cancelled so reordered replacement will be delivered sometime in 2024. I’m at 1159 days now and I’m sure I’ll hit 1250+. It’s been a long road.

Of course! I apologize that I did not remember about your order - if it's any consolation I have some envy regarding the 2024 MY upgrades you'll get, but I've tried to maintain the 'bird in the hand' perspective. It looks like you are the last of a very patient group to be rewarded. Mazel Tov!
I never imagined those getting HE 2 dr VINs assigned in January 2023 (self included) would end up being the end of the 2023 MY run.

Thanks @Calypso and Congrats on getting yours soon!

Upgrades for 2024 are certainly a bonus but at a cost of $3880 in private offer. If my 2dr HE was built in April 2023 as scheduled, I would have been ecstatic. But as April became November, I didn’t think I would own a Bronco. The upgrades plus $4250 price protection plus $2K under invoice convinced me to give it one more shot. REB was a bonus.

I’m still setting the Delivery to Granger over/under at July 2024… what are you taking? 💰⬆⬇

@ColoradoBroncoFan I'll take the under! It appears to me that mother Ford has a chance to catch their breath with the new model year production start, and that the bad supply/quality mojo has passed.
Now, having committed myself, you DO have a 2024 build date, right???

I do not have a build date yet… But my order was previewed 2 weeks ago and it looked like the parts needed would be available the 6th week of February 2024. We’ll see!

Don't know, $2395 is very specific and does match up to the private offer list:

Without knowing their story or the order history who knows what the deal was. You're right though, most of the time you have to fight what you're entitled to while others get shit handed to them.
I just took delivery today (12/31/2023) from a 3/27/2023 order and received the $2395 private offer (listed as rebate) which I did not expect and happily accepted.

I also had a separate March 27th Badland order that I did not purchase from a different Ford dealer and that also had a similar valued private offfer. That Badlands dealer told me Ford got wise on the PO and supposedly began denying it but that could be the dealer lying to get me to abandon the loaded Badlands. The joke is on that it has been unsold on their lot for 4+ months now!

Yes.

A friend and I both ordered a Badlands from the same dealer on 3/27 (I ordered a 2Dr Heritage supposedly from a different dealer - but I guess they converted it 4Dr) and both Badlands arrived in July/August and he got the $2395 rebate but I declined delivery.

That PO might have been applied to the Heritage or there was a second PO. I recall calling the Ford line and asking for the PO certificate number and value.

I did pick up a different Bronco, but I'm still planning to take delivery of this one too, then decide which color I like better.

I always like a good engineering challenge so I built my own top lift. Plus I’m too cheap to spend $1000 when I can DIY it. She sure looks great topless!
